Yeah, alt+print-screen nabs the active window only.
When you're on the desktop, I think the active "window" consists of the start button or somesuch.
Dunno, trying to take a screenshot of the active window without an active window never really occurred to me :P

I would say you have far too many pictures of one topic to do that with, but I have a folder made of pictures as well, though not at all pony-related.

1. Runescape <3

2. I remember that picture! The giant cheetah pet playing with two dwarven children.

I decided to try moving my taskbar around and found that I absolutely cannot live with it anywhere other than at the bottom. However I moved it to my second screen and I quite like it there, even though my second screen is a bit smaller that the primary one.

8 cores isn't that uncommon. I bought a cheapie 4 core years ago when I built my home PC. Could've bought a really, really high end 16 core.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Ye god, man! 8 cores?!

Well, eight processor threads but four physical cores. Having eight CPU monitors on the desktop just looks badass. :P

My desktop at home has 6 physical cores.  It's honestly not that useful.  The only reason I went for it is because ZBrush added support for up to 256 cores.  For gaming, I would have been better off with a quad or even dual at higher speeds.
