I spy with my little eyes, something that is Geneforge :D.

Also, Neverwinter Nights font on the top of the screen.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

No, I am not an extreme minimalist, I just got a new laptop, so I need to reinstall all of my games, redownload all my anime and my music.

Thisis why I bought an external HDD (though it was more for general stuff than anime and music then)

Custom kernels are incredible. How'd you rename it?

Using Arch's ABS, it was just a tweak in the PKGBUILD (changing '2.6.*-ARCH' to 2.6.*-YourNameHere')

Otherwise:
Quote from: arch wiki
Code: [Select]
$ make menuconfig
General setup  --->
 (-ARCH) Local version - append to kernel release

also:
Code: [Select]
$ du -s /lib/modules/*
48M /lib/modules/2.6.39-ARCH
17M /lib/modules/2.6.39-SolarShado
:o
and I probably could've stripped out more drivers

Default kernels are huge. Strip your kernel of whatever modules you don't need, set its output to "quiet", and you boot in a quarter of the time.

does 'quiet' help w/ speed that much? I thought it just hid the console messages (which I kinda like seeing, but are too fast to see now)
