Spoiler: Mine Desktop (click to show/hide)

Yep, it's the same as my avatar. It's a logo a friend of mine made for a little 'company' we would like to start, after our studies. It's called "Blackpanther Apllications" ;)

Am I the only one who renames shortcuts?
I try to keep most of my games in my "GAMES" folder, and my E drive, which is just for games.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Fuck yeah!
Now give me the wallpaper, wouldn't you?

Oh, and I'd give my desktop away, but... well, wait some moments won't you?

I have eleven BRS wallpapers, if you want I can put them in a zip for you.

Total War
UFO: Enemy Unknown
Spelunky
the Yahtzee Quadrilogy
Civilization
IL-2
Silent Hunter
Homeworld
Dwarf Fortress
Defcon

Either you all have an excellent taste in games, or someone's been seeding my hard drive...

Oh god, did I see La Mulana? You poor fool.

At work, so no desktop. If you want a mental image, you can pretty much remove the text from 'thatguyyaknow's background, slap all the icons on the left hand side, and bob's your uncle.

La Mulana isn't that hard really.

13 open Firefox windows? You know it comes with tabs, right?
Hah! IF I do! Each of those windows have betwen 10 and 40 tabs each, and I usualy have several times more windows and a few times more tabs in each than I do now. Furter on it is divided between sessions, profiles, instances, etc. I have chatzilla there and a bunch of other extension related stuff. My bookmarks are beginning to acquire a fractal structure, and I could go on like this. My Firefox related stuff is complex enough to be on the brink of archiving sentience.  :D

I have a default desktop with terribly organised shortcuts on it.  It's not very interesting.

One of my friends, on the other hand, always has an interesting (read: "Extremely weird") wallpaper, which used to always be something random from WoW.

Now he has this as his wallpaper (note: the account is not his).  Don't ask why, I don't know either.

It is indeed.  I dunno where the picture actually comes from (neither does the friend who has the desktop, he just swiped it off the internet), but whatever.

Ask your friend: Why do he chooses the picture as his wallpaper?

Does he like one of the character, and use it as the wallpaper because he wants to see his new waifu for all times? (:P)

Or does he just like the picture in general?

Yes, I use a 15th-century Dutch painting as my background.

I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...

Yes, I use a 15th-century Belgian painting as my background.

Corrected that for you. It's "Het Lam Gods" by the "Van Eyck" brothers, currently in a cathedral in Ghent, Belgium.
And yes, I do know I'm nitpicking ;) but most Flemish people can't stand being confused with Dutch (and vice versa).

Wait... I don't think it had a pigeon before the sun, let me check that.

EDIT: Nope, didn't. Is it some kind of copy? because it is quite good.

YET ANOTHER EDIT: Actually, it did, but it was not very visible due to the colors and lighting. Excuise me.
