iTunes and Steam I don't really use, they just happened to automatically open when I took the picture. The paint.net thing is sarcasm, it's a screen-shot of a forgotten beast wandering the Lovely Hills, associated with happiness and animals or something like that. Workrave is a timer type thing that is suppose to be used for timing how long you use the computer, I use it to time stuff (because the open windows has seconds). It's pissed off because I left my computer on sleep instead of turning it off.

I suppose that's a joke...? It's an essay on epiphenomenalist dualism. The 4chan folder started out as a folder for images and threads I'd saved from there but did end up as pretty much being the recycle bin for every picture I saved from the internet

Here I thought I was the only person who created generic folders like "Stuff" and "Important" ... the only problem is that after a certain period of time, those usually become trash folders so I've weaned my way away from doing that.

What, not using the classic "New Folder" or "New Folder(#)"?

It's simple really, a folder is the main directory where I keep everything.
File Dump is where I toss things for later filing in the sub-directories of a folder (creatively named things like b folder and c folder).
File Dump itself is actually called omega folder, placing it at the very bottom of a folder.
Important is just important stuff that I might need to access quickly, like stuff for school or self projects.
dosgames is located deep in the hard drive and is where I store all my DOS stuff for quick access.
df_osx is my current copy of Dwarf Fortress.

I am, conveniently,  the only person who  can actually navigate this labyrinth of files and directories and sub-directories and sub-sub-directories.

Computer itself is too old and crappy.
