Is that the actual surface of Mars? I've never seen an image from there look quite like that.

I'm pretty sure Curiosity took it, but it's been touched up. I picked it up a long time ago.

It's not just this forum. I'm giving it a year before I play it just so the perpetual hype-train over "this is the bestest game evar!!!" doesn't sour the experience.

So glad that I came across it accidentally on youtube and then played it myself before exploring the spoilers/hype. I've got a friend who just won't play the game because of it, and some of the spoilers are so hard to avoid and they make the game so much better imo.

though because I went in blind I screwed my first run by killing a moldsmal, managed to die to goatmom about 5 times even though she's trying NOT to kill you (i don't actually know how i managed it while trying subsequent playthroughs), was so bad at the bullet hell mechanic that papyrus locked me in the garage 3 times before -letting me go- without defeating him because he felt bad.

but now i became so obsessed with the game i can sit and beat sans for the fun of it, so lol
