Dayumn, that went badly. Some RTD's would've made the gods actually curse me for a 1, or impale myself on a spear. 1 is epic fail, normal fail is 2. (That doesn't mean you should change the first turn, please don't!)

I took pity because it was turn one, if you do that again on turn 5, you'll most likely be dead.
Edit*-That and they are ignoring your parer's meaning they probably won't help you later on.

Oh, right.
FAKE ACTION: I pray to the dice gods.

REAL ACTION: I try to find some armour.

I practice a bit with the hammer, to get a better idea of what it can do, and perhaps some skill in using it as well.

Work on improving the burial site with their possessions and call forth their spirits.

Oh, right.
FAKE ACTION: I pray to the dice gods.

REAL ACTION: I try to find some armour.

You pretend that dice gods are real for a few seconds, then having assured yourself you are not crazy, move forward to find some armor,(4) you manage to find a set of leather reinforced Nordic chain mail.  After you wash off all the blood stains you wear it.
I practice a bit with the hammer, to get a better idea of what it can do, and perhaps some skill in using it as well.
You swing the hammer around a bit, (5) before hitting a rock, when you do lightning shoots from the hammer, scorching the rock as you hit it, when you go to swing the hammer again, static electricity sparkles in the air just behind the hammer.  You feel as if there is some connection with the hammer and your soul, this makes you feel confident in using it in a fight.
You are now a Hammer-man.
Thor's hammer now has an electricity attack.
Thor's hammer is now soulbound, and as such you can't use any other weapons.
practice with my sword and shield
(4)  you swing the sword around for awhile, and hack at some trees. (2) you attempt to throw some rocks in the air to block with your shield, but manage to hit yourself on the head, good thing they were small.
Novice swords-man
>go fishing
[/quote}
As you fish (1), a great carp bites you fishing rope, tearing it from your hand.
Fishing rope lost.
look for a spell book
As you search for a book of spells among the rubble (6) you hear a voice call out to you.  You frantically pull the rubble away only to reveal a book covered in runes, confused you call out only to have the book respond "Hey, I'm right here and thanks for saving me, my names Go'aka."
Talking rune book gained, his names Go'aka!
Work on improving the burial site with their possessions and call forth their spirits.
You attempt to improve the burial sites, (1) but end up destroying what you had already done, you now feel as if their spirits are angry at you.  Still not dis-swayed. you attempt to call their spirit's (5-1=4) you feel almost as if your ancestors are watching over your actions.
+1 to next survival roll
Novice spirit caller.
Turn 3

Your village fell under siege from the English that live on the main continent.  The fierce battle that ensued killed all the other men of your village.  Vowing revenge you six brave hero's set off on a quest to destroy the english, and stop them from killing anymore of your people.  However to be able to get to the english, you must first acquire a boat.

Location:Destroyed Village: All around you is burning houses.  Somehow in your hearts you know you are the only ones alive. There is a shoreline to the east.  The dead have been buried, however some piles of equipment still lay around.

Current Quest:Acquire a ship.

Surrounding location:North-A desolate wasteland, there is nothing of interest here.
East-The ocean, there is no way you can travel across it.
West-The deep woods, many wild animals roam here, far to the west lies the rest of your people, though it would take many days traveling to get there.
South-Great Plains and burial grounds, the wretched english seemed to have come from this direction.  The spirits of your ancestors reside here.

I'll head south through the burial grounds calling on the spirits to guide me. (To find things of power/totems/herbs/the english in that order depending on which apply.)
