A strange sequence with a prize for the winner . . .
« on: August 30, 2009, 11:20:05 pm »

In the course of a night, a worker wrote down something that can easily be translated into the following sequence.

.267 .267 .267 .267 .267 .267 -22 -22 -22 -22 -22 -22 -22 240 240 240 240 240 240 240 .267 .267 .267 .267 .267 .267

*HINT: .267 is rounded!

2nd Sequence!
The worker had another shift. It was a fair bit busier then he thought.

1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 54 54 54 96 54 54 54 54 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5

What was happening?

I'm now giving out a prize for the winner. Whoever gets an answer to my satisfaction first will be filled in as the donor for the $15 donation that I'll send to Toady.

Zombies attacked.  He shot a burst from his submachine gun, but it jammed, so he emptied his 22 pistol, wrote the number 240 a few times to tell people there were 240 zombies, then unjammed his SMG and fired a few more shots before he was eaten.

Some time ago, he got an email, telling him to write down the number .267 to enter in a terminal, he went to the store to purchase something, worth 22 dollars, on the news, 240 armed men entered the city, each man was carrying 267 bullets, noting the conspiracy, he wrote the numbers down, right before he was shot by an armed mans 267th bullet.

6-7-7-6? (.267 six times, -22 seven times, etc)

Well, that's FGGF. Hrm.

Workerdrone has gone insane.

Or he wrote down the coordinates for a triangle. Several times.

Hmmm. A number-code. What could this mean?

Nope. It's annoyingly simple once you get it.

No hints for at least a week, although I'm sure that one of the resident rocket scientists (we have at least one here) will get it before then.

Could it be morse-code?

Scratch that. Is it an amalgam of encoding? Or straight relevance?

Basically, he wrote down something many times, because he was insane.

No correct answer yet. It does have significance though.

First row of 267, no idea.

Then he starts playing with model trains: Two-Twooo Two -Twooo

Then his girlfriend calls him, and asks him to come over the following day: Two - for -tea Two - for -tea

Last row of 267, no idea.

EDIT: Maybe his boss Steve Evan called him before and after, to work some extra hours. Too - Sick - S -Evan

Seeing as Strife is into military, this could be a military code.
