He got Leeroy Jenkins. Although after he knew he was crazy and wild and from WoW I was expecting that. Time to Try some Wanko to Kurasou characters, and if he gets them I'll eat my shoe!

I am eternally grateful I'm not wearing a shoe! He got Mikan! Who the hell uses this thing?

She's been played 411 times...

Haha he didn't get Silvie, she wasn't even on the list, despite the fact that he pretty much nailed her with his questions, probably not been played enough. Yeh he's failing on most of the support for Wanko, people probably only play Mikan.

Right then I introduced him to about half of Wanko's cast, time to pump him full info for them. Right I've played Silvie until he got her but I think he just got lucky, I mean how many blonde dogs that stand on two legs are there in video games? Especially since his question before the blonde one was orange hair, he was baisically trying to pick between her and Mikan.

Ok lets try Yume Miru Kusuri although that's probably been played more...

Haruki Murakami (Japanese novelist): Got it.
Neil Gaiman: Guessed Dan Brown, Gaiman was on the list

Characters from Neverwhere:
Richard Mayhew: Guessed Wolf/Volk (Nu Pogodi) (???), not even on the list
Door: guessed Susan Penvensie (The Chronicles of Narnia), not on the list
Hunter: guessed Susan Sto Helit, Granddaughter of Death (Discworld), not on the list
Mr. Croup: guessed Aro Venturi (Twilight Saga), not on the list
Mr. Vandermar: guessed Mr. Croup (Neverwhere), not on list, not even in database
Marquis de Carabas: guessed Mordimer Madderdin (The Inquisitor), not on list

Clearly this guy has no experience with Neverwhere.  And I got really tired of answering the same series of questions for almost every character!

I thought of Eisenhorn from Dan Abnett's 40k series, and it got it right! Amazing! Now, gotta try a minor character...

EDIT: Also tried Toady, and got Anonymous (from 4chan)
EDIT 2: This thing is amazing.
EDIT 3: I'm not kidding. THIS THING CAN READ THOUGHTS, THERE'S NO WAY IT COULD'VE FIGURED THOSE OUT WITH ONLY A COUPLE QUESTIONS!

I took the most absurd character I could find, Christopher Boone from the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Well, he didn't guess it, but it existed on a list. Goddammit. Same with Chauncey Gardiner (Or 'Chance') and Tim the Enchanter. This one is actually kinda good.

He couldn't get Quote, but he got Curly Brace.

OH, I'M GONNA TRY THE SPELUNKY GUY

He didn't get it, but it was on the list.  This genie is some kind of magic wizard or something.

I think it probably prioritises common ones over obscure ones.  How else would he have got the name of a character who I only knew as "The one with green hair"?

Maybe we should see if he can get the voice actors or authors behind all the characters.

I think half the times the Akinator does not guess somebody is due to someone else feeding him false data. For example, he keeps missing T-Bone from SWAT Kats. Some half-educated person answers made the expected answers completely off from the real character. It expects "has been to space" as "no" and "has met aliens" as "probably" despite the "When Strikes Mutilor" episode, also it expects "is an animal" and "is a cat" as definite "yes", while it's "partially" for both - a humanoid cat is partially a cat, but not really a cat nor an animal.

So, when you know you're right, keep pounding away at him and he'll succumb to your wisdom!

edit: ok, now it's personal. Calling T-Bone "fat"?!

There's also a lot of vagueness in the actor/character range.  AKA is it possible to answer yes for both 'been to other planets' and 'real'

I don't think so - as I understand it Real is only actual people not playing a role, so Elvis would be real and Picard being played by Patrick Stewart would not be real.
