The basic story is:
You were enjoying life until the king demanded that a tournament be created, it's winner will be given one of whatever they want. Intrigued by the idea of winning your most precious wish you set off to join the tournament. When you got to the sign-up booth a very large man knocked you unconscious. A few hours later you wake up in a dark cell. On the floor is the sign-up sheet and a note. The note says "By decree of the king you have been chosen to participate in the Tournament of pain, each round you win will bring you closer to freedom. After each match you will win gold, which can be used to buy better equipment, pay for a non-lethal training round, or heal those oh-so-painful wounds. Remember to Have Fun."
The Sign-up sheet reads:

The sign-up for this game is simple, fill out the above forum, I will roll for your stats and starting equipment. You may meditate in your cell, exorcise in the training area, shop in the training area, chat in the training area, sleep, eat and drink in your cell. Whenever someone wants a match they can tell me a list of actions they would like to try to do in the fight, or I can post your move and the opponents move and then you can pick what you want next, in other words auto-pilot or manual. There is no (real) turns unless you want to fight another player. The goal is to win 20 matches in a row, without any losses. -Transformation, you can turn into a different creature for a few turns. Most powerfull users can transmute other things, sometimes permanently.
-Conjuration, you can summon weapons, armor and creatures to aid you for a few turns.
-Elemental, mostly damage spells but each different element has special bonus spells.
-Illusion, can do many things but specializes in charming other people, and scaring opponents, may also let you become invisible.
You may meditate to increase you skill in a Class, you may train at a magic target, or on an opponent to raise specific spells level.
You can only learn new classes from random actions in battle (you can't attempt a magic you don't know but watching other people may let you learn it.) You can also learn from spell-books or magic trainers. Some special items will allow you to cast a spell, but it doesn't train that ability.
Most actions are determined via rolls, It is a basic RTD set with a few additions.
1-epic failure, if you roll a 1 I roll again to see how bad you fail, with a 1,6 not being to bad but a 1,1 being likely to really hurt yourself.
2-Fail
3-Barely succeed, may not hit.
4-Will hit, but it can range from minor to major wounds or wins.
5-Excellent hit, chance to critical.
6-overshoot, you will hit. I also roll again to determine if you hurt yourself with 6,1 being not hurt yourself but probably kill the enemy if he rolls low. and 6,6 being super-critical, sure to kill but also gonna destroy what you used to hit him with in most cases.
Contestants-There is none, 8 spots are open.
First eight players to fill out the short form get to join, if any die or I decide to make more cells people on the waiting list can join.
Waiting-None
NEW RULE-Mages were way to op and now can only cast 5 spells per match without the use of items or training.
