I don't seem to be able to get onto battle.net, ever since I changed my hard drive it either never progresses past the "connecting to battle.net" message, it doesn't hang, the cancel button works, it just doesn't get any further even if you leave it running overnight. Or some servers it gives a message that implies that that it can't find the server, I recall it being somewhat intermittent but it never works, I have tried reinstalling, I have tried patching manually, i can't patch automatically, I have tried shutting down all my firewalls and virus busters and anything else I could find, I think I even tried editing the server names in the registry...

It worked fine once, but I stopped playing for a while, replaced a harddisk in the meantime, and now it doesn't work, I still download some solo and AI maps, I Hate DotA but I kind of enjoy battle tanks, battle ships and some other AoS maps, I also like some of the TDs and RPGs, and I think even DotA could be fun if you didn't have a mutual hatred with every other person in the universe...

I don't dislike DotA because it's a bad map (such type of maps don't interest me, even if there's a huge amount of work put into it). I dislike DotA because 50% of the custom game list are DotA games. RAAAGEE.

Alright, been doing some singleplayer Wilderness Survival (disabling a single trigger allows for this).  Dayumn, that stuff is fun.  It would probably be several times more fun if I didn't have to do everything myself....

Battlenet is by several orders of magnitude the worst game community ever.  I tried hosting a raid map for that Ragos ORPG(The one that stole wholesale from World of Warcraft, but was also the only ORPG that didn't make you grind forever).  I clearly put in the title:  RAGOS ORPG MUST BE LEVEL 10.  Two hours later like one real level 10 had joined.  Everyone else was either just downloading it or tried to sneak their way in.  It's like fishing in a sea of douchebags.  They sneak up and pull the bait off your hook just because they can.

But yeah, I'm going to reinstall Warcraft 3 now.  Let's hope I can find the CD keys.
