Do something that's relativly useful for your life (that is, assuming your not going to actually become a web developer). Go for a walk, meet new people, do some other exercise, explore something, learn how to maintain a car, learn how to build stuff (real physical stuff that is). Stuff that'll help you out well in your life.

I WOULD say 3d modeling, but blender is really not something I recommend (it can technicaly do most things, but as far as I have heard the lerning curve and interface is a nightmare), buying something good (I recomend Autodesk Maya, but 3dmax also works) is EXPEEEEENSIVE, and other options for aquiering it cant be mentioned due to forum guidlines.

Another thing I recommend is reading up on some scientific discipline. Learning isn't only something you do in schools, and getting to chose yourself what to learn, at what pace, and without any performance anexity is much more enjoyable.

Lastly, one skill you could learn without any other equipment than a mirror and/or webcam, and an open surface to stand on, is acting. I'm sure there are some online tutorials for it.

Learn to play Go.

It's fun, and you'll never stop learning until you stop playing (the highest level professionals guess that a bit over 10% of the total game theory has been developed).

The game is at least 4000 years old (archaeologists have found what look like go boards older than that, but they guess they were originally used as some sort of fortunetelling device).

It is a total information game (no randomness, no hidden cards or other variables) yet the strategy is so deep that computers suck at it.

I can get an even game with a computer, and my roommate can give a computer a 9 stone handicap (9 moves on the board before he plays his first one) and win easily. One time so far in history a supercomputer beat a professional player. The computer had a nine stone handicap and only won by 1.5 points. The supercomputer was approximately 1000 times the power of Deep Blue (the computer that beat Gary Kasparov at chess). That was last year. There have been two attempts at supercomputers defeating pros with smaller handicaps this year (8 stone and 7 stone) - both resulted in overwhelming victories for the pros.

Also, at the time Kasparov played Deep Blue he was probably the world's best chess player. The pros who are playing the supercomputers at Go so far are not even in the top 100.

Rule tutorial and some tactics/strategy lessons: http://playgo.to/interactive/
The best go server (in my opinion); friendly atmosphere, lots of lessons available, easy to find a game: http://www.gokgs.com

Somebody else I directed there from this forum here said that his computer locked up when he clicked "Play Go Now" - I guess his Java plugin was out of date. Just in case, use the "Download client and SGF viewer" link instead - it'll give you a handy desktop icon anyway.

I've got blender, haven't done anything great with it, but I've got the basics down. It wasn't that hard to figure out, at least not for me. There's always the blender wiki, too. Modeling's a lot of fun. And great if you want to make "art" but suck at drawing.

Basics, yea, but you can do much less with the basic in blender than you can with the basics in other programs, stuff like procedural generation and physics simulation and advanced optical effects are much much further away, and really needed if you want anything good.
Blender is good for causal peaple doing MS piant level doodles, or for making models for some indie game or mod or visualization software, but doing artwork and serious movies with it, while possible, fall into the same category as [bizarre item] stop motion, or that one guy who makes hyper detailed sculptures inside the eyes of needles, etc.

Ramble. By this I mean wander. Walk. Pace. Travel. Explore. Do something incredibly stupid, and have fun.

I wish i could.
(parents)

What did you put your skill points on? How many do you have left, too?
Profiecient Sleeper
Profiecient Douchebag.

0 points left :c

There's your problem. Re-roll as a badass or a gentleman or a nerd. They have a whole lot of feats and prestige's, where Douchebags only get Fake Tan, Popped Collar, and the SuperDouche prestige.

Contact juggling is easy to learn--all you need is a tennis ball. And a ton of patience.

Not juggling, contact juggling.

http://www.contactjuggling.org/wiki/index.php/The_first_five_steps is a fairly good tutorial for complete beginners.

I know a site that has caused quite a few hours of enjoyment for me.

 Particularly...

i am now lost to reality. thanks alot. i have now decided that a good use of my time is to make a steampunk sniper rifle....i was at fredmyers within the hour to investigate possible items for it, and am convinced i could do it for around $30 using a closet rod, cardboard, spraypaint, and any number of junky things around the house.

If you're 14, DEFINITELY learn to home-brew beer, and suddenly you'll be the most popular kid in high school.
