Good idea, but what's the best way to get them to tell me to stop cutting down the trees? In all my Forts i've never gotten that Elven diplomat.

On the other hand, i've never gotten a King either. Does the diplomat only come when you get a King?

I get one when I get a baron.

They usually come when you cut down trees.

I normally have a big embark, which allows me to make massive clearcuts frequently enough to piss them off.
