I never get bored of Oblivion. If I do, I download more mods. I LIKE MODS HEEHEEHEE! The only thing that pisses me off on tesnexus is when people make those NSFW mods. They are everywhere. When will I ever use them?

I played Morrowind..I uninstalled it two days later. It was really boring.

Hey guys, I know you'll hate me for this, but I'd like to butt in and say let's not get started on the Oblivion Good/Bad debate. It never ends well and it's something that seems to get a lot of people riled up. I know that's not going on right now, but preemptive strike, huh?

The limitations of Morrowind is that it still uses those oldstyle check based rules... I forget what they are called. Morrowind is soooooo much more indepth in lore and I have been playing it for years and I haven't been to all the ruins yet. Also, you can literally kill everyone, no stupid essential tags to stop you. THE TRIBUNE MUST DIIEEE!

In Oblivion, the graphics have been overhauled and combat and magic updated to the more modern styles. However, because of the voice acting the world is so... Blank now. Leveled lists ruined the game and made conjuration COMPELTELY USELESS.

*YAY! Level 100 Conjuration! I can finally summon a lich! -10 SECS LATER- ... Did that goblin just kill my lich? -15 SECS LATER- Did that bear just kill my Xivali? (How ever you spell it.)*

Personally, I prefer Oblivion, purely because at the end of the day nothing is more satisfying after school/work/exercise to come home and play some fun, modern games.

I found at level 7, because I didn't focus completely on stealth and archery, I was massively underpowered.

Man, I loved Oblivion. It got boring after I had done every single quest though.

Again. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. With it, it's almost a completely different game.

Yeah, I've been meaning to give it another shot now that mods have matured. Thing is, having been out of touch with the TESIV modding scene I don't even know where to begin. OOO is the obvious first pick, but there's so many others as well... :o

I have Morrowind and loved it, especially once I got all the graphical overhaul mods. ;D

(My laptop couldn't handle Oblivion, though. Stupid lack of Hardware TnL)

I hated the voice acting in Oblivion. Not only was much of it bad(especially when someone keeps switching voices from an old beggar to a healthy young person), but I could read so much faster than the actors could say their lines that I ended up clicking through all of the conversations anyways. I much preferred having substantial amounts of text dialogue like in Morrowind.

To be fair though, this is a problem in many games that have voice acting.

OOO fixes that.
My Scamp summoning can kill highwaymen in a one-on-one.

Hell, I kill everything by rushing them with scamps and shooting off a couple fireballs, I just end up dancing around everywhere trying to stay away from their insane damage rates.

(OOO FTW! Never before has being killed by a Bandit Ringleader with a magic axe been so quick and so fun!)

Man, I read that as 'My Scamps summoning can kill a highwayman in a one-on-one' and suddenly I'm wondering what I'm missing out on. Is that a perk for worshiping Toady? Summon Greater Badass Cat?

FTFY. :P
Yeah, Morrowind's conversations were a lot more involved and you could get different results depending on how much the NPC liked you. In Oblivion, you can only get two results, either the NPC tells you about the topic or it doesn't. Hm. :-\

I've got PS3 Oblivion so no mods for me :(

My major complaint with Oblivion is that it ISN'T open ended at all.
Here are your options:

1)Which quest to do first?
2)Quest completed:
    a) I don't need a reward! Yay me!
    b) This'll work! :)
    c) I SHALL EAT YOUR SOUL!!!!!!!!!
3) Back to 1.

Another problem is that finishing the main questline is actually a VERY bad idea. You effectively shoot yourself in the foot with that one as the Oblivion gates is one of the best locations for great equipment and high souls.
