Left 4 Dead crew are on Twitter. A series of bots that actually play a game together, and tweet as they play through a non-existent level. Haven't been active for a while though, unfortunately.
Something like 45% of all Twitter accounts are bots, apparently. Hell, at the height of my botting I had 3 or 4 of my own running (nothing malicious, I assure you - just news feeders and the World's Most Realistic Bulbasaur Simulation). For those wanting to follow celebrities and whatnot, they're introducing things like Verified Accounts so you know that they actually are the person they're proclaiming to be, but at the end of the day you should always double-check on their official sites and assume that they're fake, just to be on the safe side. I remember when the very popular SteveBuscemi account started getting people to do all sorts of weird crap until Kirstie Alley of all people starting spamming people to ignore him, as she knew he was fake (and thus, whoever ran that account was kicked from Twitter)
