Dragging-Wounded coop games
« on: August 26, 2009, 04:57:00 am »

Well since most of you people from this forum like rogue like games, i guess you also like the part where you get have only 1 life, and after that you're dead.

All i wanted to ask from you guys is to post ANY coop game that you know that has dragging functions, and even advanced medical aid...

I will post my own knowlage of these games in my past ''years research''

Enemy Infestation (quite nice)
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers (superb game, the only part where they freaked up is that you could-not-die :-X )
WW1 medic (crazy about this game ^^, only bad part is...you can't multy )
Operation Flashpoint with some kind of mod SLX or something like that (has medical treatment, dragging, and even prisoners capturing - bad part - you could not coop i think with the mod)
Arma again with some mods-ons i belive... (but it kinda sucks up the resource and i can't play it)

I guess i went through more games but i can't recall them right now...

Your Turn.

Army of Two..You can drag the guy you're going to heal. That's about it, though.

That's just a shame that they couldn't build a basic formula of a game with dragging...

im assuming in the future there will be a few games with this functionality, its a feature the mainstream of gamers don't really want. but there will always be some guys like us who strive for functionality.

I know America's Army got famous for some long winded test that you had to pass about first aid before you had access to the first aid "action" in-game. But I have no idea whether you drag fallen bodies or not.

Play the medic in paintball. Just bring a towel and a spray bottle. Much cheaper than playing, even.

ArmA2 has dragging and healthcare built in, but as you can't run 1 you most definitely can't run 2.

This is the one of the weirdest and most specific fetishes ever.

i recall that chain of command or a clone of chain of command(old 2AM game) had a function where you could pick up wounded soldiers with a medic and carry them back to the lz and administer first aid to save them.

This is the one of the weirdest and most specific fetishes ever.

Technically its not a fetish, its more of a specific thread about how he liked functionality in games that both allowed you to perform a dragging maneuver on downed allies and perform advanced first aide on people.

For video games. Not even specifically real life.

How can you define that as a fetish?

And also found one in german.

Come on, we all know what's going on here.
Fantasy/fetish... the underlying principle is basically the same: OP gets off on a specific set of circumstances and seeks a safe arena in which to play with/explore the idea.
That's what all these kind of threads are about.

That's bullcrap.

Its like saying anything can be innuendo. The fact is, you can giggle as much as you want about a sentence, most of the time, its never sexual.

And here comes the idiot who will say that what I said was sexual.

Raeg. But back on topic, please.
