I am back from the funeral! Mourning and comforting loved ones took longer than I thought.

I too try to get a sword and have an epic sword fight with Jack.

You throw a generic punch at the king! 2: you miss! The king glares at you. A king is a king! And a king doesn't take part in such foolhardy tomfoolery! The king takes on all his royal kingly wisdom, his royal authority, and royal robes. The king Calls on his Authorative figure model: King tech level 4! Peace Treaty! 5! (i swear, i am not making up these rolls!) The king draws out the finest royal paper made from the finest royal tree, and writes upon it the finest royal treaty in the finest royal ink with the finest royal quill! the king presents this to you and it's all you can do to stay conscious as the sheer eloquence of the treaty leaves you shocked and amazed! Neither Urist McMagic nor the king can attack each other next turn.

Jack priority roll 3! KUR priority roll 5! you reach for a sword but fail to find any at all. you settle for punching jack! Jack defense roll 5! (i'm seriously considering abandoning dnd dice generator at this point. for so long jack and KUR kept tying on their priority rolls.)
Jack expertly dodges the punch! Jack yells at the blacksmith to lend him his finest sword! 6! the blacksmith gives you a large claymore that is just way to heavy, huge, and over the top to be wielded properly. -1 to all rolls relating to attacking with the sword. Jack attacks the robot with the sword! 4-1=3 you barely mange to swing the sword. KUR defense roll! 3! the hit connects but the swing was so bad all that happens is the robot gets a mild scratch. All of a sudden two guards burst in! The way you two are behaving is forbidden in the kingdom! They will not allow this tomfoolery to go on any longer and are prepared to dish out some perfectly reasonable force and bring the will of the people upon your sad miserable souls!

you ask the apprentice wizard if he knows how to shoot fireballs. 1! he gives you a scroll on how to shoot balls of frost written in the deeptounge. not only can you not recognize the letters, it is heavily encrypted in secret demonic angel code and is also a crossword puzzle. you can't make heads or tales of it and it is completely useless unless you un-encrypt it.

4! you go to the blacksmith sneaking past two guards, a samurai, and a robot. you ask for the armorers order of weapons and he gives you a locked case that is locked with one of the seven sacred locks of the armorer-blacksmiths.

That blacksmith is getting pretty crowded!

4! you grab the blacksmiths hammer! attack roll 4! you thrust the hammer Jack-wards! Jack Defense roll 1! jack gets a nasty clonk on the hands. he drops his huge-ass claymore in pain.

Guard number 1 is shocked that such violence exists in this kingdom! he summons the righteousness of all gurads everywhere to aid him! he performs the Peacekeeper sacred art level 2: Warrant for arrest! 3! he gets distracted by a stray spark from the blacksmiths kiln though and doesn't perform the technique properly. Jack and KUR are only handcuffed but not fully restrained. they still have the ability to resist the will of the people. Guard number 2 sees his comrades grave error and invokes the Peacekeeper sacred art level 3: Iron will! 3! a weak magic barrier powered by the will of the people surrounds the guards. they reflect upon their failures at restraining you shamefully.

you look around for something to defend yourself with. 4! aha! the kings scepter! of course! you stride bodly over to the kings throne and take his scepter from it. something about the scepter feels odd. you can't put your finger on it.

2! you try and go to the armorer but get lost on the way. you are standing in front of the wizards guild. you can see an enchanter and a cleric.

1! you trip and fall flat on your face while exiting the wizards guild. a passing cleric asks if you are ok.
