Look, zombies often times got problems too. Zombies have to spend more AP killing people than Humans do, and for all the AP Zombies save in death, they lose it when trying to take down barricades. I believe that most people see the game as biased towards survivordom, rather than zombiedom, altough this may be due to the fact that there are usually more survivors than zombies.

Also, revivers, take a look at DIRT:NAP, which showcase a pretty much fool-proof way of defeating zombies, at least in the short term.

Survivors needs ridiculous amounts of AP for ammo collection, I recall alternating 1 day killing (maybe 2-3 zombies) then the other day restocking ammo. Plus survivors have to use ap to barricade as well.

And dirtnap doesn't do anything but delay the desruction of the building. If you cant leave the revive point then eventually you will run out of ammo, you can't beat a zombie without a gun so in the long run a smaller number of zombies will eventually reduce all the survivors to nothing. And in the end the survivors gave a ton of AP to the zombies, focused them selves on an enevidebtly destroyed building instead of barricading everything, and wasted days worth of AP revive people who end up dead anyway.

The game is an AP war and in that survivors must simply keep barricading everything with a detailed entry map since barricading takes less AP then tearing one down. Other then that, lock up every zombie in one fort somehow then barricade it from the outside.

You don't need to kill zombies, or lock them up in forts. In fact, killing zombies is counterproductive. It is only useful for gaining XP and clearing  buildings, and that's it. Don't go and battle zombies outside.

You're survivors. Your goal is not to get eaten. You barricade a building to survive, and then you run to the next building so that the zombies don't get you. even when you secure territory, you barricade buildings and then hide in lots of buildings, in the hopes that the zombies don't find you.

WorkerDrone, are you Garviel Loken in UD?
If so then I know you :D
You may now me as rest'in'pieces, ex leader of the much griefed Whitlock Initiative for Zombie Archetype Revival And Delivernace. (Yeah, WIZARD.)
Right now I'm waiting for a needle after a failed attempt at retaking Treweeke mall. (Which is now caded, repaired, and lit.)

If you want a warzone where the survivors are just getting the upper hand, come over to Dulston, the north eastern corner of the city, and the place where, about a year ago, 3 major zombie hordes ended their rampage, we're still getting rid of the stragglers...

I was in the fortress. It rocked but I had to quit. Just couldn't devote enough time.

Brain bread just looks like you running around killing zombies. No barricading, no scavenging, no securing buildings.

I liked UD because I get to play as a zombie. I can play as a survivor in many other games, but playing as a zombie is a very rare experience.

Zombie Panic! is free and allows you to play as a zomber.
Ammo, armour and weapons are limited and need to be found, and you can use furniture and stuff to barricade yourself in places. There are HL1 & 2 versions. The kicker is that it's neither massively multiplayer, nor a persistent world... it's just small maps and short rounds with a few people. :<
It has a good feel to it though.
Anyway, back to UD.
