Guys, I've got some top grade dining chairs here.

Yeah, that's the new word.

You'll need a verb for it too.

Lets just hope the ISP doesn't start throttling our connection if we download too much.

Heh, I see you catch my meaning.

Now without the rage (which I'm surprised isn't on that list): Anybody who's ever smuggled anything, and by anything I mean chewing gum or nerf weapons at school, knows that you can say anything (often just the package, goods, or it) with a knowing look and people already know what you're talking about.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure some of these are wrong even for their drug uses. Who says 'get high' strictly means marijuana?

edit: Oh, and pass that cat tallow...

Oh, and sorry for DP, but Fu?? Really?

I can't tell you how many times I've used that to describe coding skills. Hell, in Gimp, it says 'loading script-fu' when it's loading.

This is why I hate slang.

No, no, you don't hate slang. At least that isn't a reason to. You hate stupid people who try to translate slang, rather than understand it.

It is really funny that most of that list was probably derived from teachers overhearing this happen:

and assuming that was  the new slang.

I think that list maker may have tried every single entry on the list.

"Let's see, what's next... gunja hey."
*Sounds of chopping, rolling, lighting, smoking, coughing*
"Ohhhh that was good... what's next... Gungeon hey?"
*Sounds of chopping, rolling, lighting, smoking, coughing*
-repeat ad nauseum

No, no, you don't hate slang.
Yes I do. >:(

Slang just clutters up a language that already has way too many words.  Not to mention you don't find most slang in your standard dictionary.  You have to learn it.  Move to a new area with different slang, and it can lead to very embarrassing situations.

Apparently calling an African American "boy" (even if you call everyone "boy") is racist where I live.  People in Britain won't know that (I didn't even know that until a trip this summer when the trip manager learned about it).  You can probably guess how that can cause problems, if you know I live in southeastern US.
