Guess-the-event/thing game!

This game is simple. I post pictures ( feel free to post your own ) that hint to events or things, and you guess which events or things they depict! Some might be easy, some might be a bit more difficult. It's somewhat of the sequel to this old thing. Ah, memories. The one to first guess the picture gets the honour of having his name written in the spoiler! ( Quite an honour, even if I say so myself )

Number 7 is invasion of Iraq, the persian gulf if I recall?

And 9 involves israel attacking some islamic country.

Number 7 is correct. Number 9 is basically the Israel-Islamic problems, but that's correct.

8 is the Black Death
2 is either World War I or II, maybe both.
3 is the Great Depression
4 is the Wall of Berlin.. I think it was called that but it was when Germany was divided

6 is nuclear winter, 4 is cold war and 1 is Greece VS Persia, 2 is WW1

I'd rather have a more detailed answer to 1. 6 and 4 is wrong.

8 is correct. 2 is the first world war. 3 is correct. 4 is not. 2 is world war I, see the trenches.
