That looks like a dwarven Ark of the Covenant. Now I really wish artifacts had powers. I want to see some dwarves haul Planepacked out in front of a sieging goblin army, lift the lid, and watch the gobbos' faces melt off.

If it did something like that, it would have to generate endless magma in its core magically and then spray it out up where those hanging rings are.  Bonus points if it spins while doing so.

That is an insane and dangerous plan.  I approve wholeheartedly.

So, anyone still want to print this? What format do I need to convert it to?

You're talking about the 3D render you made, correct?

Anybody got a 3D printer, or access to one?

EDIT:
:Looks at previous post date: Holy crap.

Most printers use .obj.

This would need to be huge for you to get the detail.

Another option might be to make a papercraft model. The software to do this is Pepakura Designer, and can be downloaded at http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ .

It would definitely be cheaper, and other people could make their own models.

I think necro'ing is justifiable in this case, no?

That depends. I'm *still* waiting for someone to request the model in some specific format.

What is a very common, and easily convertable 3d file format?
