Don't even think of continuing this. I will personally come round and kill all Americans if you take part in this boycott.

You americans are so crazy, you complain and complain that we released this guy on LEGAL terms. When the americans administration just ADMITED to commiting ILLEGAL stuff to prisoners and terror suspects!

This seriously gets up my pie hole.

One, we did embargo Libya.  Bombed the crap out of the place too.

Two, Libya paid billions of dollars in reparations to the families of the deceased.

Three, Libya and especially Qaddaffi have gone on to sort of reform their place in the world, as a peaceful, responsible trading nation.  That supplies training and arms to Ivory Coast insurgents.  You know, like a nice Western country should.  It is Africa after all, you can only expect so much.

As I live in America, I spend a lot of time wondering where the allegedly stupid masses are. I'm pretty sure it's mostly just vocal chumps on the internet, and libertarians. I'm sure it's mostly what you hear, and assume it's most of America because it's most of their communication you get, but rest assured we hate these people too.

Anyway, I know Nilocy is joking, therefore it's the 'all americans' part that bothers me far more than the killing part. Hell, we could do without that Shamwow guy. In fact, we could without a lot of the media that spends 1/10 of their air time to show a logical reason why their product is good. But seriously, it's the exact same logic that says we should boycott Scotland because of some fart in their prison system, or because an American tourist slipped on a banana peel and fell down an open manhole. It's just not logical.

But yeah, I'm sure 95% or more of the people signing up for the boycott didn't have plans to buy anything Scottish in the future anyway, and have no idea (and don't intend to check) if anything they buy regularly is connected to Scotland. Maybe it will slow the sale of those Utilikilts that are getting slightly popular, even though they're made in America. :)

Fox news seems to stay in business just fine by boiling down every issue into screaming about communists, terrorists or whatever enemy of the state is popular at the time.

I amend myself: Where are the masses of stupid people of a brand that clearly aren't present across the pond? I think ignorant American slobs and ignorant British bigots are the same people born in different countries...

Granted, I don't think any European country (and I'm not counting anything before the industrial revolution) ever tried to rename a food because it was unpatriotic...

If they have an equivalent to Fox news, I don't know about it. But obviously if it's there, I wouldn't.
