It thinks it's funny.

Hit it.

I think electricity makes a sound, because I can hear electricity running through the house when it's quiet enough.

Is this buzzing loud?

Actually I have sometimes had this problem

In my case it isn't the Television it is actually something close to it being vibrated by the speakers.

So check what you have in the room, Peices of paper, fans, and popcans can all cause this.

It could be static.

It's not a constant buzzing so I don't think it's the electricity and it stopped on its own so I don't think it's nearby things either.

It stopping on its own doesn't rule out what I said.

Try running your hand over the screen.
Look for anything with strong currents within a few inches of the screen or the back.
Is this an old screen or a flat screen?
Know some high frequencies young people can year but older people cannot. Could just be part of the TV.

Just going down the list here.

Electricity only makes a sound at a 50 Hz or 60 Hz pitch.. should be very deep but constant hum. Radio frequencies go way above what people can hear, so it's none of that stuff.

Some speakers without EM shielding buzz a bit when there's a EM wave nearby, like from a cellphone, or another speaker. If you get two TVs doing the same thing, it's probably interference from some EM emitting device. Cellphones or magnets or something like that. If you've got one of those magnetic wrist bands, that could be the culprit, lol.

The strong current question was with the thought that they generate magnetic fields that interfere with the TV.

Yeah. The tube tv's buzz. My friend is EXTREMELY annoyed by that. He's just at my house, and suddenly says, "Your TV's on."  He walks across the house, up the stairs, and turns off the tv (which was left in the video game mode with no signal being sent from the console (because it's off)).
So yeah. It buzzes. Really super duper crazy high pitched, like the fluorescent lights, and that annoying mosquito ringtone or sound grenade ipod app.

Sounds like a UHF, probably either an internal fan (some flat screens have them to keep cool) or just a noise capacitor warming up.

It's the electron disturbance caused by things trying to get into our reality.

Man, I'm exactly like that! I can hear an ON television from like 50 feet away.
