There was a while when all I would listen to was Fortran 5's Look To The Future, because it was sufficiently vapid that I could let my mind focus on other things.

I don't keep music on my computer anymore--it is too much of a hassle to keep it all synced up. There are way too many streaming solutions out there right now for me to want to.

If you are going to listen to anything from Soma.FM try and use the AAC stream--it sounds better, they use less bandwidth, and they will stay on the air longer.

It depends really, if im in the mood i blast away Ensiferum and Korpiklaani, then again if i feel awesomesauce(which i usually do when playing DF) i listen mostly to OST's , Transformers, PotC trilogy, LotR trilogy, D9, and some others, these ones have that epic orchestral feel to them, make the game much more immersive

I think Toady's music goes really well with DF - slow and rhythmic. That's why I also like to listen to the Magic Numbers or British Sea Power, one of the few times I listen to slow music.
