You could also google some file recovery software, I've not used any myself but I hear it can be quite effective. I'd imagine they cost money but a free trial is all you need for a few files.

Looks nice.  Pillars are a bit wonky, but I guess that is the case with any tile set.  I'm assuming that the water is going to be changed.

PIllars are definitely wonky. Shrink the gray middle space. Also, I really hope that isn't the real size of it. Also, is this still hand drawn?

In my opinion, if this is really the way you want to go, then I want the old style released as well  ;D. Just having that dark, almost monochrome type tileset... *drools*

i havent actually tried this tileset, i did try to make a 24x24 tileset once tho, how do you solve the problem with the minimum width of 80 tiles? or thats taken care of in the 40d13-16 releases?
