By doing this
The flying cheese fork hits the cheese maker in the upper left arm!
The left eye is gouged out
The right eye is gouged out
The right foot is severed
The pancreas is broken

Fixed.

Properly fixed.

I always assumed that Dwarven milk came from dwarves... I guess it never bothered me to think about it because it made sense that some cultures would utilize every form of nutrition possible (how do you think modern humans got their first taste of milk? :-\). I mean, it's not like I would let my petty "values" get in the way of a dwarf enjoying his drink. ;D

Actually, I've been thinking about that for a while. It's like, who was the first guy or girl to take a look at a cow's udder, and say, "You know what? I'm going to squeeze those things, and drink whatever comes out. Yeah!"

There's a webcomic called "Goblins" about cheese that really cracks me up. But I'll be buggered if I can find it now. :(

That is all.

It's when they're in the sewers of BrassMoon city, getting ready to rescue Fumbles from Delyn Goblinslayer. Thaco gives them human food. Complains-of-Names smells the cheese, is disgusted, and asks where it comes from.

Hilarity ensues.

EDIT: Found it!

Oh man, I JUST had a conversation with some friends about how I had just realized "Dwaven Cheese" didn't come from cows.

Thank GOD it comes from purring maggots. The thought of someone drinking Dwarven ... milk ... is... is jus- *BLARGH*

That's the reason that dwarf babies need alcohol to get through the working day.

Forget purring maggots, I'm not sure I even want to know just WHAT the substance is that gets milked out of them.

Not to mention that since they are vermin and are suppousedly the same size as a caterpillar, one has to wonder how much they can possibly get out of a single one.

I wonder when the milking thing will be fixed so that non-vermin animals can be milked.

I just know someone will mod that to create some completely disgusting situations.

Urist: "Hey Vucar, what're you up to?"

Vucar: "Just milking some goblins."

Urist: "GAAAAAAAAAAACK"

I should have rephrased the question: "How do you think humans got their first taste of milk that they can remember?" It didn't appear out of nowhere in a plastic jug, you know... ::)

LOL!

In all seriousness, Toady could make it not work for sentients. Although, I have no idea why only vermin milking is actually working and yet we get cow and camel milk from the mountainhomes and the humans.

Speaking of milk, there should be goat milk (the mountain goats are close enough to a real one that they are useable) and horse milk. The mongols were known for making use of horse milk.
