Honestly... The first had good graphics (the second had Live Action which is one of my personal favorite styles) and the second had GARBAGE!

I would say monkey island 4 is the best example. I cried genuine tears when playing that game.

The GFX upgrades in the actual Upgrade Complete game... 1 and 3 had old school charm, 2 was nice and clean, and 4... OH GOD, THE CLOUDS. THE FRIGGIN CLOUDS.

I've noticed that more than two lightning guns is overkill.  If multiple lightning guns target the same enemy, it doesn't do any extra damage--and they always target the closest one.

My endgame ship was eight missile launchers, two lightning guns at the back corners, and two magnets.  Hoo boy did it ever work.

I won once with only the plain guns and once with only missiles.

Naturally, plenty of magnets until everything else was max.

For upgrade complete, this strategy certainly does seem to work best.

I ended up with 110% on it... anyone else pull that off?

I just did it with 4 magnets (all on the same spot), 2 lightning, booster (shouldn't have), 4 guns, a missile

It is simple, you just have to upgrade everything and then beat all the levels (getting Super Ship is not necessary for 110%).

For the first posted game, 5:09 minutes and 8 deaths. I was slow for most of it, but I think I learned something. I also wonder what 4 of the levels were asking for, as they preceded just like any other...

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.
