The incident where she was muted was awhile ago, she was banned for real just a couple days ago.

Few days ago?

It was more like 2-3 weeks ago.

What is with everyone and being scared of Sofia anyways?  She doesn't seem to be that weird of a person, confusing maybe, but not that bad.

You obviously didn't see the "stuffe" before.

I'm not scared of Sofia, she's my hero.

Yeah, I guess we have given Sofia a supernatural status. I hearken back to the days when the Various Nonsense board was active, and she was just a guy who played Russian Roulette a lot. And lost, repeatedly. Okay, so a bit scary.

I've counted the tropes that you guys have so far applied to Sofia.

Currently, they are Psychotic Smirk, Nightmare Fuel, Names to Run Away From Really Fast, Memetic Sex God, Memetic Molester, and Memetic Badass.
[not linking 'em because, well, Tropes Spiral].

From what I've seen of her she could probably fulfill all of them at the same time.

In comparison, Aqizzar just has Authority Equals Asskicking and Made of Iron.

I'm certain there's also one about a beard of authority that could apply to his chin.

Sophia and Aqizzar are beyond tropes, they are tropeless! And I would kill to be either one, but as it is I'll have to settle for stalking one of them. But which one?

Muhahahahahahahahaha!

Hmm, checking tropes against the forum members would be interesting.

Maybe someone should make a topic!

She's a friend, so she's not that scary to me. Woe betide you should you get on her bad side though.

Wow.  This is frightening.  Really frightening.

Um...  Stany, I welcome you officially to the Bay12 forums...  I'd like to say we're not normally like this, but I'm not really sure that's true anymore.  I used to be able to say that, but now I really don't know.

Eh, cheers.

Yes, unfortunately for Kagus, forums march on and now we are like this. But not all the time. Also, we are nice people, so fear not.

This thread became derailed after the second post. As for the forums, They are very specific. You can find a great amount of tips and tricks from the community section if you find the game challenging. There's video tutorials (Captain Duck's infamous 40 part series - http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=28477.0). If you want to keep up with current developments - almost daily is an update here at the dev_log (http://bay12games.com/dwarves/dev_now.html). The community is very social however I will warn you about topics that usually cause flamewars - Multi CPU support, UI dicussion, Graphics Discussion, pretty much everything - mentioning Oblivion, Fallout 3 in the Other games forum ends up pretty bad.

good luck at enjoying the forums.

Zironic.

I guess it's because if a topic is 'hi!' we don't have much to discuss and so the whole thing derails pretty quickly. It's good to meet you new guy, other topics aren't like this. Fear not.
