Yeah, I have an Athlon 64 3200+ S939 Venice running at about 15% overclock (I scaled it back to be conservative: I could go way higher), and it feels faster than a lot of the other computers I see (of course, the fact that I use TweakUI to eliminate unnecessary cruft from WinXP probably helps, and the fact that multiple cores are still in infancy helps a ton as well).  I'd say bottom of the line is in the single-core Intel 1.5 GHz to 2.0 GHz range.
