If it's not too late, record the collapse. Some cave-ins are worth watching and a huge tower like that has to be one of them.

Collapsing it would be dwarven actually, just dig a massive pit below the tower to collapse into, preferably full of kittens and prisoners.

Collapsing would be cool...but I was thinking maybe you could somehow find a way to pump lava all the way to the top, and let it overflow, making a giant lava waterfall...unless it would melt. I haven't ever really messed around with it before, so I wouldn't know.

Build a red and white striped circle on top of it.

Dig channels outside the fort that says free candy.

You could also make a extrernal rampway up to the top of the tower, and an internal rampway down to the ground floor, and replace the center of the tower with retracting bridges, so when invaders come, you just pull a lever once they are inside your fort, and watch them plummet the 30+ z-levels to their doom... then you get to have fun several times a year...

second, to the op, how large was your embark square? cuz you just inspired a fey mood.
