Well, it seems more to be a matter of a large number of people than a large number of variations.  The main split being whether the "u" is pronounced with a preceding "y" sound or not.

You can't actually pronounce Urist. When you try to say it you just kind of make a gargling noise and fall over.

I hate Urists. Especially Urist McStfu :( Personally I think it's overused and annoying to see it everywhere used for everything, blah blah, bitch flame troll etc. So

It's Oo-rist for me.  Vowel-consonant-vowel makes the first vowel long.  My mind can see it no other way.  Also, it just sounded like the most Dwarven pronunciation.
