After enduring many trials to reach it, you decide with your newfound wisdom that such a natural wonder must be kept secret to preserve it. I bet it's been discovered dozens of times already.

I'm going to take its seeds and plant them across the world, I already said that.  It will be a common species, and will not need preservation.

How can you guarantee you're the first conquistador to get there?

That made my day DJ. You've earned a thousand clever bastard points.

In that case you'll realize that mankind just isn't ready for it. There must a reason this tree isn't widespread already.

You're right.  I bet it eats people.  I'll discover it, write it in a jou--FFFFF I JUST HAD THE BEST IDEA EVER

I'm going to write a journal of my exploits in search of the vagina tree, make it sound as authentic as possible, with sketches of flora and fauna discovered, and a fancy accent, and then leave it in a library somewhere for someone to find.

I'd pay you real money if you did that, lol.

Is there some way I can block people's stupid "Farmville" updates from entering my news feed?

If I can find a way to put some kind of tiny camera/sound recorder on the journal so I can hear what people say when they pick it up, I am totally going to do this.

Another hilarious idea.  Write a telnet chat program, name it GENESIS, and put it on a flash drive.  Leave the flash drive at the library.  When someone plugs it in and opens the program, they'll type something in, and I'll respond, pretending to be GENESIS, the world's first sentient AI.

Or you could just create a bank of pre-recorded responses. Oh, wait.

I grew up in the US, lived in Switzerland last year (at an international school), and now live in Prague.  My friends and family are scattered all over the world and Facebook has proven to be the most efficient way of keeping in touch with them.  It's easy enough to block messages from programs (I have no desire to take part in the quizzes and games and whatnot) so I don't get bugged by those too often.

I am, however, getting really sick of telling Facebook what my gender is.  I answer that question every day, but they keep me gender neutral and ask again next time I show up.  Not sure what the deal is with that.
