Rabies causes fear of water.  Might have something to do with the names.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.

I don't feel comfortable sharing everything, but,
back in the day, puffballs scared me.
Those little fungus bombs that explode with spores.
I was running joy fully and with wild abandon across my nice green lawn.

I can't find "fear of being assassinated" on the list.

Symptoms include making all their own food (to avoid being poisoned), covering all windows (to avoid being sniped), and deliberately mixing up their daily routine (to avoid being ambushed).

I recall a few famous and some not-so-famous people had it.

Really? you guys don't know? Not ven read Wikipedia?

Rabies was once called Hydrophobia because it paralyzes your jaw, making it impossible to drink liquids and quench ones thirst. And I think one has uncontrollable excrement and your eyes constantly tear up. Basically it looks like your body is refusing all liquids.

Don't forget taking small amounts of certain poisons to build up immunity.  It was pretty much required in any monarch / nobility at certain points in history, really.

I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...
