I wish to see calligraphy! I will learn things!

I'll write somethng as well, but Jude's avatar is caligraphy: it says "In the name of God the Merciful the Forgiving". Granted, it takes a while for you to see the individual letters.

In type it goes like this: بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

Also you read it right to left. I'll get my caligraphy scanned soon, but I'm just waiting to break my fast in the next half hour.

Hmm, I broke my fast already 4 hours ago.

Nope, I'm an infidel. I just love Islamic calligraphy. And mosques. And the call to prayer (except the one at 4 in the morning which is completely uncalled for....see what I did there)

I think it says "There is no god but God and Mohammed is his profit" ? This is pretty hard to read as I can't tell where the words stop and the art starts.

You're right. Yeah, it's kind of confusing; I'm not really sure if all the lines are there that technically should be. Still looks awesome. I have a rasterbated version of it on my wall...doesn't look nearly as good without the detail.

Actually, looking at it I can't even make sense of it. It doesn't seem to start with the right letters. But if you're a Muslim it's probably pretty familiar.
