The problem with trusting a killer to kill who you want is that at any moment he could turn on you.

Oh I say that is a pretty weak argument. Of course if I saw a path to victory I would follow it. But as it stands, I see no such path. And once I'm done with AFD, y'all lynch me. Besides, how do you plan on winning without my help? Do you know who the other dopp is?
I didn't think so.

I could also go for one of them new-fangled day extensions until everyone has evaluated the facts and concluded that you shouldn't lynch me.

I'll vote for a day extension but I'm not changing my vote for you yet. If you have a deadman bomb, you could still win this.

If we don't lynch today and you claim that you're going to kill A_Fey_Dwarf, the dopps can't kill you without wasting a nightkill since you'd be dead by morning anyway. If you lied about your target, this would mean that we would lose two town roles during the night.

At this point, the town would have only two remaining members and voting for you would cause us to instantly lose, assuming the dopps didn't join in with the vote. If we voted for A_Fey_Dwarf instead, we'd lose another townie and be left with 1 townie, 1 dopp and you. You could kill the remaining dopp at that point and the dopp's nightkill would decide whether it's a town or exterminator victory. The final option, voting for the other dopp, would leave two townies, a deadman bomb armed exterminator and a dopp warlock. Once again, the dopps would choose who wins.

If the dopps do decide to night kill you tonight, they would lose one person and we would be able to quite easily find the remaining one because there would be 4 townies against one dopp. While the dopps may attempt this, it does seem like a very big risk to take.

The final possibility is that we try to lynch a dopp today but then we're just guessing and that's exactly what you're telling us we can avoid. The only difference is that we have even less information than if we left it until tommorrow.

Overall, I don't see why you would decide to give up any chance of winning by killing the warlock so I'm going to vote for you unless you can convince me that you don't have a deadman bomb. At least this way, we stand a chance of you killing some dopps if you do have it.

As I see it: there are currently 4 townies, 1 Exterminator, and 2 dopps still alive.

Today, we lynch you and tonight a townie dies.  3 townies -- 2 dopps.
Tomorrow, we lynch the non-AFD dopp and a townie dies.  2 townies -- AFD.
The day after we lynch AFD, town wins.

If we lynch a dopp first, then two townies dies.  2 townies -- 1 dopp -- 1 Exterminator
The Exterminator or dopp chooses who wins.  Townies are not likely to win.

So really, I don't see any reason not to lynch you now Nuke.  Your plan sounds intriguing, but we have a better chance with only 1 night kill to contend with.

Janus that sitiuation is the only situation where you the town win and it relies on you finding out who the fudge the last dopp is. I don't know*. Do you know?
If you don't know, you are going to have to find out for sure who is the last dopp before tomorrow. If you are willing to take that risk, then go ahead, lynch me. Otherwise, maybe best to keep me around for a while, hmmn?

Your statement is rather true.

I do not in fact know* who the last dopp is.  Of course, if you wanted to tell me what you know then I might be willing to come to some sort of deal.  Since you seem resigned to the fact that you can no longer win, then you could always help the town.

(Also, you tried to kill me...  Maybe you could try to convince the other townies?  :P)

I have ideas, but until I get the extra information (that I'll have tomorrow), we're as likely to lynch another townie as we are to lynch a dopp.  Of course you would love that...

Actually, Nuke, I can conceive of a situation in which you win.  You know who the other dopp is, or so you say.  You kill him tonight.  Should the dopps not attack you because of your supposed going after AFD, you still have your shield.  Two townies die.  Next night, you kill AFD, and your shield protects you.  Viola, you win.  Hence, we should lynch you today, and it's lylo tomorrow.  We just have to find the last dopp.

Hey, you're back.  Isn't there anything you want to say in defense of us believing that you are a dopp?  I've said it, the Exterminator's said, I'm sure others have, and you seem cool with the idea... Which seems to just verify your scummitude.  If you were town, I think you'd be trying to get back at the person/persons who provided evidence against you.

I have never been cool with it, just my defenses have been ignored.  You want me to get back at webadict? He is dead and proven towny, his reasoning for attacking me makes sense, but if it is wrong the town will lose. The evidence was that toonyman blocked me and there was no dopp kill. How am I supposed to defend that. I have tried to explain that there is a chance it could have happened as me town, and that webadict's analysis earlier was wrong, but it has fallen upon deaf ears.

Despite a bit of extra bargaining, Nuke is unable to sway the townsfolk to his side. As muchenik picks up the pistol on the table Nuke stands and pulls a strange looking weapon out from under his coat.

  "You really think I'll just stand here and let you shoot me? Don't be so - uggh", he grunts in surprise as Xegeth tackles him to the ground. Muchenik rushes over and empties the clip into his head.

  Investigating the body, you discover the Nuke is indeed some strange Alien, and given the way he bandied about that weapon you figure he was an Exterminator as you thought. Looks like his 'valiant' quest to eradicate you all has failed.




Ok, day 5 is over. Send in your Night actions!
