Wow...

So yeah XD FUN

My firsrt expedition, 2 days in, got eaten by a group of Harpies @.@

2nd start going much better, but out of curiosity, since I've never done anything like this before, what would you consider a 'project' that helps them survive and live comfortably?

My attempt got eaten by beak dogs. I was moving stuff a ways away from the magma pipe and got maybe 1/2 my supplies moved, my forge setup and smelting when suddenly 4 beak dogs charged in from who knows where.

Are we held to the 'must have a way to path into the fort' rule of the first DM challenge?

Oh, please... we have 20 votes in the poll with only 18 contestants... Somebody has been upping the Embark Now! option cause he thinks its funny... Please go ruin your own community game.
*cough* Twenty contestants, though it looks like there're 26 votes now.

...I may not finish anything special, but...

First migrants!

I've started work on a military, hopefully it'll be done in time to face the goblins in the field.

Oh, and right before they showed up my miner and Axe-armed engineer fought off a beak dog pack.

OH SHIT.

THE MAGMA MAN ATTACKED

THE DOOR WAS BLOCKED.

BY A BONE THE CAT DROPPED.

THE CAT THEN DIED HORRIBLY, FOLLOWED BY THE WOODCUTTER, AND NOW THE ENGINNER IS VERY UNHAPPY.

EDIT: save scumming is AWESOME
did you ever notice how close save scuming is to saves cuming?
