Seems you overestimated our hostility. Considering the number of games we have all partaken on in the forums that have abruptly died, we are well used to people vanishing. And I'm sure all of us are mature enough to handle somebody suddenly having some financial issues.

Not to mention after all the rocking artwork you did a little downtime would hardly tarnish your status. Welcome back.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

It was hard not to. I know the comic's audience comes from a rather different place than the typical webcomic's audience. I guess it's more of a niche topic. I've worked on many comics online over the past ten or so years, and every time you end one, or have to go on hiatus, there's usually backlash.

I guess I sometimes forget that I'm not the only person experiencing the effects of the recession first hand. Sorry, chaps!

Yeah, webcomic fans are often unreasonable. Happens to the best of us, of course. But I doubt even the most ornery fan is going to give you trouble for coming back ;D

Yea, while I guess you COULD have foreseen it and at least warned people somehow, nobody will hold grudges, we're all to happy you're finally back, I'm WAY to used to people disappearing without a trace and never coming back. :)

Oh cool, you're back. Awesome!
(Forumgoers don't seem to bear grudges. It's a quite uncommon personality attribute and only really comes to light when we stand too long on the same tile with the hated enemy.)
