Name: Synk, the Hollow
Primary Domain: Force
Alignment Domain: Evil
Portfolio Element: Sound
Symbol: Black robe with a sinister smile in the hood
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Divine Caste: Lesser god

Description: Synk's body is in the shape of a human, but his skin is a color of black that is dark enough to stand out as darker than total blackness. His face is also blank and only has two eyes glowing a blood red color. When he smiles, a smile so sinister that most mortals would be paralyzed by fear will slowly spread across his face. He wears a black cloak and hood and never lets the hood down.

He was once mortal in a far off, and no longer existant, plane. He led a happy life their as the ruler of a peacful nation until a group of rebels killed his family. This drove him into a frenzy so strong that his dormant godly powers emerged. When they did, a blast erupted from Synk and destroyed the entire plane. The event of his families death altered Synk's attitiude about mortals. He no longer cared for any of them and no longer cared for anyone but himself, and his deceased family. He has since wondered between the planes, but now his return is inevitable.

BTW, as a precautionary measure, I made a thread for OOC (out of character) comments.

((Now we can begin. If you want to post OOC from this point on, go to the OOC thread.))

In some distant plane, on the verge of oblivion, a gigantic ball of rock was hurtling toward the end of space itself. Reality began falling apart around it, like paper shriveling and charring beneath invisible flames. The rock tore through the darkness, in something like a window of colossal magnitude shattering. It was all that remained. Shards of what once was began drifting into the gray nonspace. A white mist fell over it, swirling and spiraling, though there was no movement.

Suddenly, the rock began spinning. It spun faster, faster, faster, before the great speed caused a part of it to break off, spinning around the larger rock. It began to slow down, and the spinning became steady and predictable. The rocks began to form a perfectly spherical shape, not a single blotch of color, no uneven bumps. They became perfect spheres. The mists began to settle around the smaller rock, blanketing it. The mist became thick in one area, and the cloud held it's shape.

In harmony I am born, in harmony shall I live.

It projected the concept out all around it, though there was nothing to hear it, and a deep sense of lonely peace filled the world.

When the ball stopped another object sliced into the world.A shard of crystal. With each side the same as the next. The crystal began to expand until it formed a large sphere.Nothing that existed could see into the sphere at this time.

Wedstryd stopped randomly drifting in nothingness. Something actually happened. A ball of rock had appeared. It was beautiful. Perfect. And therefore, incredibly boring. In a fit a of rage, Wedstryd screamed at the top of his lungs! The incredibly strong sound warped the many balls of rock, creating fissures, dents, hills, and gaps.

On the prow of his plane traveling vessel, Gammonius was annoyed. He had found a ball of rock. Useless. Utterly useless. First order of business, anything that lived here needed something to kill each other over. He chanted a silly limerick he had learned long ago. A single coin appeared in his hand, shining blood red. He flipped it over the prow, and it tumbled end over end...landing on the rough land, sinking and expanding, and sowing the deaths and fates of untold multitudes of mortals. He was glad.

Wayock formed from nothingness, he formed from the idea of war, of conflict. Of which it was just a twinkle in the gods eyes. In the great void he looked around, a ball of rock was moving through it, in an aimless direction. A smaller rock was spinning around the larger one, they were... Aimless. This would not do.

Wayock went to a spot ahead of the floating ball, there he concentrated long and hard, he reached out and gripped the very fabric of reality. He squashed it together denser and denser until it became a huge ball of flame. As the rock ball floated past it's trajectory curved, eventually spinning around the flame.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Wayock went down to the surface of the spinning rock, it was uneven and imperfect. Tearing at reality itself he created water, to flow through the ground and gaps. Filling the deepest and leaving the highlands.

He watches the gods build themselves a world. They seek to play games here. To create and then destroy life for the purpose of gleaning a little entertainment.
Sounds good.
Where do I sign up?
A scroll of parchment appeared floating through space. It unrolled itself, and a quill appeared and drew a single line on the parchment. Under the line, it wrote 'sign here'.
Oh.
Fair enough.
A spark of colour traced across the paper, leaving a glowing, multicoloured scribble on the line.
Excellent!
Let us begin.
Firstly, let us create some things to play with.
The scroll started to shake. The scribble seemed to writhe on the parchment, changing colour and flaring brightly. Finally, with a pop, the scroll disappeared, leaving a scribble. The scribble flew to the planet, where it multiplied, and danced about and such like and so forth.
As these things do.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Scribbles danced across the world. Where there were seas they jumped in and swam. Where there were mountains they flew. They were driven by nothing more than Brownian motion, but soon they walked across every land, swam through every sea, and flew through the entire sky.

Jester, to everyone.
"Hee-hee. Look at them dance!"

Asari formed formed in the dark void, purposeless and lost.
A distant bright light shined, it's light carrying far through the void.
Tentatively at first and then in a mad dash he approached it.
Two small rocks coved with imperfections floated there bathing in the heat of a colossal ball of fire.
Asari gazed in awe at it and crept closer so it could view the ball's surface.
Pain.
It had been building slowly as he watched the new born sun.
Asari's awe and amazement where washed away as the formless specter burned in the intense heat.
Panicking it fled towards the floating ball of rock.
Desperate for shelter it rent open a massive hole in the ground and burrowed a deep extensive labyrinth of dark and damp caves.
There was something comforting about the darkness it found, it reminded it of the void beyond.
It's panic subsided it crept to the edge of it's lair and glared at the sky beyond.
Would the pain return if it left or was the surface too close to the ball of fire?
It did not know, but it wanted to view the ball of fire again.
After many long moments waiting at the precipice it retreated slowly down into the earth

A scribble scribbled across the world. As scribbles are wont to do.
Suddenly the scribble sensed a scribble flare with curiosity. Curious, the scribble scribbled towards the other scribble.
The scribble sensed a big cave. The scribble stopped and watched the cave to see if it was dangerous. Other scribbles were watching the cave from a distance too. One scribble started to scribble towards the cave, but then scribbled quickly back. The scribble paused for a moment, and then flared a courageous white and started to scribble towards the cave. Scribbles flared warnings at it but the scribble scribbled resolutely on. Whatever was in that cave, this scribble was determined to find out unless something even more interesting happened nearby!

Asari sensed the scribble enter the dank darkness.
It drew Asari's gaze and it watched the curious little thing with interest.
The surface would become populated with many forms of life, this Asari knew.
But for the first time it came to realize what that meant and that it's tunnels would be host to none.
It grew envious.
Careful the scribble made it's way deeper into the twisting caverns and narrow tunnels.
Gradually Asari drew closer to it.
The formless god sent faint whispers echoing towards it, wordless whispers as the world was as yet without words.
The scribble curious as always turned to investigate.
Suddenly strange visions poured into it's mind, visions of the sun falling to the ground, of the death of all that lived across the world.
Relentless the images of the scribble's own fiery death and that of all it's kind tore it's mind.
It fought a desperate, failing, inner struggle against them as the cave filled with hissed mutterings.
But the hissed mutterings faded to silence and the violent visions were swiftly replaced by visions of comfort, shelter and safety from the coming apocalypse.
Eventually even those faded.
The scribble had been changed, it no longer changed colour randomly but remained black, the lines that comprised it now had hard angles in them.
The things it had seen burned fresh in it's mind as it made it way up and out onto the surface of the newborn world.

As it left Asari was left in thought, he did not understand the scribbles or they're ways, he did not know what worked when manipulating them but he hoped what he had done would produce the desired effect.
He wondered also about the end of the world, how old would the world be when it does die, would it die and if his lies had held any truth or if they ever would.
Eventually his thoughts turned back to the scribble, would it even be able to convey his message?
He didn't know and he soon stopped caring.

Wedstryd had listened to the lies that Asari had spread amongst the scribbles. The sun crashing into the ball of rock... that would be VERY entertaining, but just hurling the sun into the ball of rock would be over too fast and wouldn't be very memorable. Westryd had to think of a way to make this lie a reality, and make it as spectacular as possible.

Stories and lies of the end of the world spread from scribble to scribble.
Some refused to belive them others thought the caves would not be safe and sought other methods of protecting themselves, a few scribbled into Asari's cave with the herald.
A small image at a time Asari showed each of them the burning sun and the pain it caused him, the surface scribbles growing hateful, violent and vengeful and apocalypse that drew them down here.
He worked hard but soon the scribbles had forgotten the surface as the playground they left instead believing Asari's visions of violence, chaos, death and the brutal surface scribbles envious of their underground paradise.

The Jester's children danced across surface innocent and happy
But things had changed, even those who refused to belive where forced to contemplate a painful demise and a global tragedy.
They were forced to realize that there may be things to fear in this world.
Except for some who refused to fear and remained carefree and curious.
Asari watched them from the entrance to his domain, rejecting fear, rejecting his efforts, rejecting him.
"Laterr..." Asari hissed angrily to himself before withdrawing deep into the caves.

They milled aimlessly across the planet, the amorphous blobs that amounted to scribbles. A man of crystal stood equidistant to the robed one, who stood at the mouth of a massive cavernous system. It made an odd spectacle, blobs of color weaving into and out of the pair. The robed man surveyed the scene with little emotion.

Gods they were, to mess with a budding world as such. He turned, looking into the foreboding mouth of the cave, knowing what lay deep inside. He felt the slight malice, the odd sense of familiarity. A game. A game they would all play, some with hidden agendas, some just for fun. He palmed the dice in his right hand, turning it over as he watched another scribble wander past him, into the cave system. Foolish. But then, what could the things be but foolish, given their creator? He turned the dice over once more, and opened his palm.

Snake eyes. He nodded. Before, his chances of winning the game had always been slight... but now...

He silently walked away from the mouth of the cave. At a reasonable distance, he turned his palm over. Before him, a forest bloomed into existence, covering the visible horizon with minute saplings. He then spread his hand outwards, and a wave of positive energy swept over the budding trees, enriching them and their land with life, and within minutes, the trees stood tall and proud, the soil black and rich.

Scribbles scribbled through the new forest. They did not know or care how it had been created, but it was new and the scribbles were curious. It took their minds of fiery death, at least. They climbed the trees and swung from their branches. As scribbles do.

Meanwhile, in the cold void of space, a die appeared. It had seven sides (somehow), and on each side a symbol of a god. The die threw itself, and came up with the triangle of Gammonius.
The greedy man in the boat. Well well well. What shall we do with you?
A coin appeared. On one side, a happy face. On the other, a sad face. The coin was flipped, and came up sad.
Hee hee hee.
It is much more fun this way. Now, how can I annoy Gammonius?
I see he has placed metal in the earth, hoping for strife to come forth from it's rarity.
What value would metal have if there was a race who would mine it with no eye for value?
Hopefully none.
All over the world, certain scribbles were touched with divine purpose. They solidified into spinning balls of earthy colours, from whence a silvery drill of colour poked. They scribbled across the world to where they sensed metals buried and then they dug down, consuming and expelling dirt and rock with ease until they found metal, which they consumed until their frames were filled with liquid metal, which they then caried back to the surface, and deposited it in small lumps. Ordinary scribbles watched them with curiosity, even touching the lumps of metal, but the scribbles had no use for them.
Diggles diggle all over the world, leaving piles of metal for all to use.
That should annoy Gammonius a little. Hee hee hee.
