I love the presuppositions that I'm anything like charming and Sofia is anything like a maiden.

Then we find out the dragon is female. This then leads to awkward Shrek-style comedy.

And nobody wants that. We need to be sure of this monsters gender before we dick around with everything biology holds dear.

Does it MATTER what gender our dragon is? I always thought dragons kidnapped maidens for the lulz than for any biological purpose.

Yes, basically, but instead of hurting people by being a jerk, they hurt people by setting them on fire.

Yeah, if your definition of trolling is causing extreme annoyance, dragons are really good at being trolls.

...What were we talking about again?

While you are all talking about becoming kings and queens of Texas, I've been building a Humongous mecha in the shape of the Alamo.

WITH SCIENCE OF COURSE!

You know the Alamo lost, right?  But hey, if you want to build a doomed mecha...

You besmirch the lady's honour? A prince you maybe but a gent you are not!

Anyhow onto the practicalities of Sophia and Vester fighting, since neither was technically the challenger deciding who picks the weapons is going to be a bit tricky, to solve this dilemma I propose that they fight barehanded ... in mud ... wearing very little. Excuse, I'm just going to enjoy my own private nerd fantasies.

Psh, just make a mecha Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna and it'll get creamed.

But anyway, I think we were talking about Texas before I brought up dragons. It's a possibility.

O to be a dragon,
a symbol of the power of Heaven — of silkworm
size or immense; at times invisible.
Felicitous phenomenon!

Why don't we just glue a bunch of gila monsters together?

That would be hard to kill too because you'd have to kill them all.

I accept this challenge!  I WILL be king of Texas.
