I'm from Indiana and currently live in Hawaii, but most of my family is from and lives in Texas, so I go there twice a year around school. Some parts of Texas suck, others are awesome.

Pfft.  It's a big state.

But yes, I am also a Texan, born and bred.  And come nightfall, I am the King of all Dallas.

Ahhh. So the moon phases and time of day affects your nobility? I'm guessing at noon on a day when there will be no moon at night, you are but a lowly viscount, my Baron.

Does it have to do with the increase of stars' brightness from the perspective of someone on the ground in Texas?

As if.  In Dallas, you can't see any stars unless the power goes out.  Mostly it has to do with no one being awake.

They are where I live. If I want to not see the stars, I literally have to get out and hook up every floodlight and spotlight we own, turn them and every light in the house on, and then stare at the ground. Dood.

You know what's worse? My family is super-huge, because my grandpa had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. They all disowned each other. Every once in a while, I'll find out that that girl I hit on or the guys on the basketball team from a different school, are my cousins. It happens frequently enough that just going out in public is like a damn family reunion.

Viscounts are higher up than barons.  In fact, baron is as low as it goes.
