I'll walk calmly onto the enemy ship, and use my magic to suck the air from the enemy crew's lungs, either killing them or winding them making them less able to fight/defend.  If any of the enemies get's close to me I'll draw my pistol and shoot them.

Also, sorry Redwarrior for not waiting, but I'm not sure when I can do another turn as my mother has entered her bi-monthly "The computer is evil and is corrupting my son" episode. Also, I'd done the dice rolls before I'd noticed you hadn't posted, and I'm not doing all those again.

It's okay. My mom has those tri-monthly, and this one was bad.

Help with the boarding effort, going after a mage. Attempt to knock unconcious rather than kill. Keep for interrogation.

It occurs to me that wind magic may not be all that precise, the best you could achieve might be to lower the pressure on the boat, which would affect everyone there...

You do not. You have two sloops.

And it would be worthless anyways, as a sufficiently powerful fire mage can create spells hot enough to melt through most metals, adamantine being the most notable (and most obvious) exception.

Draw my sword and move towards the fire-mages, creating a powerful torrent of wind from my hand, trying to blow the fire-mages off the ship into the water, and deflect anything they might cast/throw or shoot at me back at them.
