TURN 25! MY NAME IS KRFNRF F'TAHNG!
Have a good night sleep?
[6] You sleep very soundly, but when you wake you vaguely remember a black man singing a very odd melody... You head up to the top of the ship to see that you tiny fleet is only a short distance from Udragoth.
First, inform the fire mage that we are going to be helping the Kingdom of Crystals against the lizardmen, and that we will also try to get this mighty artifact from the chieftain. Second, search the ship (the Tallow Gem) for anything of interest that the others missed. Third, join the crew of the Tallow Gem.
You tell the mage your intentions, but he seems aloof. He apparently wants nothing to do with you until you get that talisman back.
After joining Khan's crew, you loot the ship seeing you have every right to. [3] Sadly, nothing of worth comes up.
look for loot once more, tell bob to do as he wishes, and ask if he would like a differnt name.
Ever persistent, and now assisted by the living dead, you search the Tallow-Gem once again. [5][5] As you rummage around one of the Thralls brings you two items: A cutlass, and a book. He tells you that the cutlass appears enchanted, and that the book may be of some worth to you, based on its subject. You see that it is a biography of the man trapped within your ring.
Curious, you read more and see that he was a ruler of a great and prosperous land, and a might warrior. However, his people were blasphemous and worshipped false pagan gods, angering Armok and his lesser children. They summoned a chain of volcanoes, spreading ash and ruin across the land, and sent down a plague that raised the dead to slay their descendants and relatives. But the man in your ring would not die without a fight, and slew many of the beasts before falling to them. Armok was impressed by his prowess and decided that hell had no use for him; he placed his soul inside a silver ring so that he may fight on through whomever wore it.
You come to the stunning realization that your ring holds the soul of the former ruler of the Dark Halls.
You barely remember to ask Bob if he is happy with his name, [2] and he replies that while he respects your decision as the Champion of Armok, he would prefer a name more fitting to his kind; he remembers Armok addressing him as "Nk'tosh G'vallowlk" when he was ordered to serve you.
Make travel rations to keep us strong during the long march.
[4+2] You work throughout the long night, creating hundreds of rations to make sure that each man from each ship is well-fed. By morning you have completed the monumental task.
I return to the Ozymandius' crow's nest and try to make fire that is brighter than normal, I try not to look directly at it...
[5] Though it takes time to figure out how to make fire brighter than normal, you wrap your head around the situation and manage to make your fireballs brighter than average. (+1 to fire magic)
Anyway, go and graciously donate the power armor to cap'n Toonymanner, then train my speed skills a bit.
As a new member of Toonymanner's crew, you give him your Power Armor as tribute. [2] However you fail to improve your speed without it. It seems that it was not the load you thought it was.
Get some rifle practice in
You fire off a few shots with your rifle, [1] striking a metal sheet and knocking a bullet back at you. [6] You manage to roll out of the way, somehow.
I'll get my crew to get any and all useful supplies together and ration out food, water and bags. I'll then give them a hardy speech about how I will lead them to fame and glory across the many lands of this world, and that we shall start our march to glory by conquering the lizard men. I also want to wear the pirate hat.
By some luck the cook on another ship has made rations for everyone, including you and your crew. With his help you ration your share amongst the ten of you, while the crew itself gathers weapons, ammo, and carts to carry it all on. By morning you are ready for travel.
TRAIN GLARING!!
[5] As one of the crew passes by, preparing to dock you cast an evil glare at him. He is temporarily frozen with fear, and darts around the corner before he meets your eyes again. You feel proud now that your glaring has finally proven effective. (+1 to glaring rank)
Make a potion which will increase change your eyesight to that of a hawk
[3] You concoct a potion and quaff it, but it seems to have no effect whatsoever.
Allied ActionsCommence disembarking
The tiny fleet finally comes up to the bleak port of Udragoth, a heavily policed place where even the pettiest of crimes is punished severely. In a time where war could come from the neighboring Lizardman tribe, these laws are even stricter. Luckily Boozebeard does not plan to be here longer than to disembark, purchase some pack animals, hire some crew and be on his way.
Once the ships dock, he gives a sack of golden coins to a young boy and has him give it to the guards to keep a double-sized post watching the fleet at all times. There is some extra incentive hidden in the bag for him as well...
After that he begins directing, getting your large group off all of the ships and onto the docks. It takes some time but by mid-morning everyone is prepared to go. Knowing that he will need more soldiers, he suggests to Toonymanner and Khan that they go and hire some men, as Elegost is off to do.
Get more soldiers for Boozebeard.
Knowing that this town will be full of battle-ready, hardened people, Boozebeard sends Elegost to hire as many followers as he can to come along for the trip, so long as they can provide for themselves. [6] [6][4][2][3][6][4]
As it turns out, Elegost has a history with Boozebeard and uses tales of past adventures to excite a good deal of the tavern. They sign up by the dozens to join on this epic quest. Of course, their hatred of Lizardmen has nothing to do with it, right? A total of 25 men and women sign up, all human due to the isolated nature of the town. (NOTABLE MEN: [6][6][5][5][5][5][6][5][5][5])
Most are just average farmers and peasants that own some weapons handed down from their fathers, but among the rabble are 7 Knights from the Order of the Sapphire, one of the Kingdom-sanctioned orders of knights. They are clad in a pale-blue mithril armor, and ride horses bearing the heraldry of Udragoth's lord, Earnest, who doubles as the leader of the Order. There are also 3 petty nobles, each bringing along their slaves: [4][4][5] save one. The other two bring their ogres, but the third comes to battle fully prepared as a higher-ranking member of a Sapphire Knight, riding a Griffin into battle and clad in mithril armor.

Environment:The people of Udragoth watch with a mix of curiosity and seething anger as your trail-mix of a crew begins to march through town. They're not really fans of outsiders, and it's obvious that all the dwarves, elves, goblins,
rats, and other vile things are considered outsiders. You'd best get the guard on your side, or get your stuff and leave. Quickly.
Locations:A vicious-looking sloop, with a blood-red paint, carrying 16 cannon and already looted treasures inside!
A small, sorry-looking sloop, carrying a dozen cannons and is painted white with a green trim. Possibly the ugliest thing you've ever seen float besides its previous incarnation, the Mad Hatter.
A large, sleek and black frigate with 32-cannons.
The Northern Coast of the Kingdom of Crystals' territory
An isolated port that rarely gets visitors, the people here are very prejudiced and spiteful of outsiders, especially non-human ones. Home to the zealous Order of the Sapphire, headed by Lord Earnest, ruler of Udragoth.
Let me know if I've made any errors.
Well, you're heading to land. Few pirates would dare risk this, but when there's money AND killing involved you can't really say no.
There's quite a few plot twists here, so make sure you spot them all. And since no one called it out, I'll just tell you: Udragoth is the (misspelled, whoops) name of the castle/kingdom from the Disney show Dave the Barbarian. I used to love that when it was on at a time I could watch it, and still see snippets when I'm up very early. I couldn't help throwing it in. But you'll quickly learn my Udragoth is not as friendly as its namesake.
PS: Battles from now on are going to be borderline ridiculous, as there are over 50 men on Boozebeard's crew alone, not to mention your crews and the men you'll soon be recruiting, if you so choose. (I suggest you do at every opportunity. You ARE going to war here.)
