No, that's not a strategy. That's abusing save states.

i'll make sure to update today before this gets completely derailed. i'm going to grind up first because the next dungeon is filled with grass bug and maybe water types. not good at all for Urist and Raptor jesus.

Well, Darek can handle the water types.  Also, doesn't Cubone get ground type attacks later as well since I am thinking they are good against grass types?

Ah, my bad, I was thinking either metal or dark attacks that do well against grass.  It shouldn't be to hard either way.

In response to the previous poster, this. You need all that for Blast Burn. And you have to be one of those fire-type guys.

EDIT: However, based on memory Blast Burn has terrible PP, to the point where you'd be better off using something else anyways. Not to mention the recharge time... That alone could kill you.
