Or maybe is the havens started raining booze and the hell's fires covered the ground the only ones who could save us would be the dwarves before the booze hit the fire and boozesplosion occurred.  Instead millions of dwarves would be running around catching all the beer in their mouths before it hit the ground.

Or at least putting out the current fires with their green foam of non burnieness of cave adaption.

They would vomit everything: the plants, the meat, the mushrooms, water, their own guts and even the +Dwarven Syrup Roast+, but never, NEVER the alcohol!

Then you would eventually reach terminal velocity. Unless of course there is no terminal velocity in DF, (dwarven physics are weird like that) in which case you would either be ripped apart by the ridiculous G-forces, or spontaneously burst into flames.

Or both. In which case you would have falling !!Guts!!

The fall would probably kill you before the HFS do. 

Depends on the dwarf. I've had dwarves that could eat 30 story falls for breakfast and use their severed legs to beat HFS into a pulp as well.

If you reach the edge, you fall 50Zlevels and end up on the other side of the world. And if you fall off the edge that you just landed on, you fall into the inside of the world.
