Tidings of war
« on: August 13, 2009, 03:50:12 am »

Currently trying out the dig deeper mod..
Had 4 fey moods now..
1st produced a legendary armorsmith..
2nd produced a legendary weaponsmith..
3d produced a legendary stonecrafter (And I have obsidian on the map for swords)
4th produced a legendary bowyer..

I have a feeling this fortress is meant for war  ;D

Nice :P

Somewhat similiar situation to me in my current fortress as well. Just no legendary armorsmith yet though (One of those would be absolutely excellent for my heavy steel industry)

i feel you need to provide us with the name of this fortress and the name of the group before we can advise you on how to proceed.

Man, a Legendary Stonecrafter will be useful for the masterful obsidian swords.  They're pretty deadly.

You'll need a bone/wood crafter so you can get masterwork training bolts.

Man, you don't even need a war-fort. With a masterwork armourer and good supply of steel you can pump your fortress wealth up massively. Obsidan short swords, while very powerful, aren't worth very much though, but the best part about having a few hundred masterwork swords laying around is that if the gates ever fall and the orcs are coming in, every civilian can go down with a sword in their hand and a dead orc at their feet.

Hehe.. I have 3 legendary bonecarvers by now, without moods.
The 2nd siege of orcs was killed mainly by orc bone bolts  ;D
