If you want to go off of probabilities: It's better to assume everyone's human.

Why?

Well, if you're a Human, then we can go off of percentages. There's a 50% chance that Doppelgangers exist. Now, that means we have two situations.

1) 100% of people are Humans.
2) 75% of people are Humans.

So, that means that if you're Human, it's better to assume Humans exist because:

100% * 50% = 50%
75% * 50% = 37.5%

Therefore, you have a mathematical advantage to assume Humans exist if you are a Human.

However, that's just probabilities.

Well, you've got 3 days to call it. As for me, I'm going to assume they do exist right up until voting time. After all, if we assume they exist, we'll scum-hunt a LOT better. Webadict, you're right, the odds do say that any on person we vote for will be human, in all probability, but if we assume dopps don't exist, we'll still lose 50% of the time, period. At the very least, we should be talking more. Way too many lurkers in this game, really.

You people do realize there's little point in voting to lynch, right? 6 or 7 out of 9 possible targets (if there are Dopps) will end the game with a loss for everyone (or almost everyone). If there are no Dopps, then the lynch of anybody will result in a loss for (almost) everyone. The only time a lynch would be useful is if we have someone we know for a fact to be a Dopp.

However, scum-hunting is still good. But we need to be sure to not lynch someone unless they refuse to cooperate. People pushing for a lynch with little evidence are likely Dopps or a Joker.
