Build one. Then use the power generated to pump the water back to the top. Then it will be truely dwarfy.

1. Magma, not water!
2. No trees. Just random piles of cut lumber.
3. Vomit and blood splatterings outside the entrance.
4. Elf skull totems. Who doesn't like elf skull totems?
5. The whole thing needs to be cast in obsidian. Then engraved with dwarves beating the living heck out of elves.

Then, my friend, this will be truly Dwarvenly.  ;D
