The main series, Shin Megami Tensei, is about real DEMONS

Well without getting into spoilers, I mentioned it.

Except none of the diablos let you summon demons unless I am overlooking a Imp summoning spell.

Nope, not unless you consider reanimation a "demon summoning" spell.  You might also be able to tweak your perception of golems a bit, but that's really just it.

Most RPG and most fantasy games have demon summoning. From Doom to Disciples, any genre.

I had fun wit ha necromance in Diablo, they aren't demons but it is still summoning, right up until you realise that summons are almost useless against bosses, all the way up to Diablo having an 'automatically kill all summons and mess up the player' spell that gets spammed any time a summoned critter turns up, not that any will with the complete absence of skeletons...

If we included summoning then the list would be much larger. (Yu-Gi-Oh, Chaotic, League of Legends, Jade Cacoon, Jade Cacoon 2, Freedom Force, Freedom Force Vs. The Third Reich)

I buggered myself on that with a druid.  Made it all the way there, and then he just wipes all my work away.  I started trying to grind all of hell until I could plug some points into the lycanthropy tree or something, then realized my character was already boned.  Man that made me angry.

One of the factions in the Heroes of Might and Magic series is the demons.

Freedom force had summoning?

Well the first one allowed you to summon a duplicate of yourself

The second allowed you to do that, plus a decoy, plus a fire elemental summon. (Fire Elementals have a few attacks but they are generally for running into enemies and exploding)

Civilization IV has an excellent mod called Fall from Heaven which allows you to summon demons... on a civilization-wide scale.
It is impossible to recommend Fall From Heaven highly enough; the mod is spectacular, frequently updated, and in final make it work/pretty phase as opposed to being developed. People who get into Civ wanting to do nothing but build, build, build until go time may not enjoy it, but that is its only real flaw. The Civ in question is the Sheaim. They've got kind of a tough learning curve but they're a good time.

Oh, and the new SMT:DS (Demon Summoner) probably qualifies too (DAMNIT I NEED MY DS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY!)

It's Devil Survivor.  Solid little game, and a good deal of fun.

Warhammer Online, a newer MMORPG that I've played in the past couple months, also has the Magus class: a spellcaster that wears a combination of plate and cloth armor that summons "horrors" (extremely strange demons with randomly generated amounts of limbs and horns), can engulf people with indigo fire and turn THEM into demons if they die, has spell names such as "Pandemonium," "Baleful Transmogrification," and "Perils of the Warp," rides on a glowing blue disc that ends up getting spikes and better patterns as you level up (though this is a mixed blessing), can use a tornado-type spell that pulls people to them from a moderate distance away, and at later levels have the possibility to summon a HUGE demon called the Firewyrm of Tzeentch, which (unfortunately) absolutely sucks more than anything else.

Of course, the Magus is pretty terrible right now as it is, but the good news is that they're slated to get improved on. In the meantime you can enjoy using AoE spells that tick constantly over twenty seconds on huge groups of people and can be spammed to make them target more than just one gaggle of players. Granted, they deal terrible damage overall and the disc makes them stand out like a sore thumb, but nobody is debating they look amazing.

Spoiler: WARNING, HUGE PICTURE (click to show/hide)

That's a picture of a high-level Magus right there. You start to look really cool around level 19 or so, and it just keeps getting better.

Despite all this, the game has some problems. The Magus, along with a bunch of other classes, are pretty terrible. There's a bit of bugs floating around every now and then. Population imbalance is a factor (mostly due to the imbalance). The developers don't really have the time to respond to every person's worries. But apart from that, it definitely is a game to look into - but I'd wait a little until they patch up a few things with the class.

Given WH40K's popularity on this board *cough* I believe this may be a game you'd be interested in. You can probably get the game from somewhere for twenty dollars and it's an additional fifteen per month after you've played it for the first month.

I just noticed i never bothered to check how Warhammer online plays like, is it a WoW clone, or does it has actual warhammey elements?

It shares some elements with WoW but there is a few major differences:

1. The game is not centered around PvE but instead around RvR (think large-scale PvP). You can, in fact, go into a scenario at level 1 and still have fun - I have done this before, as well.

2. While gear still plays a part in the game, it's not nearly as big as it is in WoW. The best gear is easily attainable at early levels from a few hours of RvRing and when you get to higher levels it takes longer but you don't have to do it all at once a la dungeon raiding.

3. Like WoW, there's two sides: in this case, Order and Destruction. The lore is expanded upon ingame (and there's nothing I know if that blatantly throws lore to the side like in WoW, but it DOES operate on a different "What if?" timeline), and it's consistent enough that you can tell that the dwarves and the elves hate each other. The whole side of Destruction (even though there's not dueling implemented yet) basically fights against their own side in most of their PvE quests.

4. There's separate classes for each race, broken up into four different "archetypes." Each race has a melee DPS, a ranged DPS, a healer, and a tank. These range from the dwarf Rune Priest (a small break off the lore, but essentially a Runesmith) whose class mechanic is lots and lots of buffs to the Dark Elf Black Guard, an anti-magic tank with huge amounts of debuffs. Here is where the lore breaks a bit: a few classes such as the Dark Elf healer (the Disciple of Khaine) and the Chaos Healer (the Zealot) are not found in lore but instead are just generic classes for any side they're on.

Note that the Magus is Chaos's ranged DPS, but it's not too powerful at the moment. The five classes you want to avoid for the moment are Magus, Shadow Warrior (High Elf RDPS), Black Guard (mentioned above), Black Orc (an unfortunately underwhelming greenskin tank), and Marauder (a cool-looking but once again underpowered Chaos MDPS).

5. There's a few other gimmicks such as Public Quests (PQs) and influence. Basically, Public Quests are little repeatable quests in the main world that you can run with a group. They're typically broken up into three or four distinct phases with different objectives (Gather Items, Kill Mooks, and Defeat the Boss are the main ones). Usually there's a set timer for each of the phases that determine if you win or not. If you beat the timer, you can roll for loot for the PQ and have a greater chance of getting some if you were more helpful in the PQ.

Influence is another matter entirely. You gain influence from doing PQs (in PvE) or killing players and taking keeps in Open RvR (PvP). Basically, it's a little counter that fills up separately for each zone. Whenever it lands on a little blip you can get pretty decent items. It's a fairly simple gimmick, but it's there nonetheless.

5. Open RvR is one of the game's main selling points. In each of the zones there's a huge area somewhere in it where you can go and fight other people. Generally there's battlefield objectives (BOs, not to be confused with black orcs) and keeps in each one, which you can take to earn benefits for your side (and also influence for yourself). When you take a keep or BO you get a good amount of points that contribute towards "locking" a zone. When you do so, there's a huge burst of EXP, renown (basically, PvP levels), and influence for that RvR zone and you get tokens to buy really good armor (also found dropped by players). It's a fairly fun system but it does have its flaws: sometimes it's hard to find a group, sometimes you just get steamrolled by the enemy zerg, and for a while keeps were a pain in the butt to take (but that's been fixed with one of the latest updates, I've heard).

Overall, though it's not a perfect game it's still very fun and entertaining - a good way to pass the days when you're just looking for something to do.
