It would be neat if you could post job advertisements for warrior dwarves. You could offer money relative to their skills (a novice might come to your town for as little as 50*, but a legendary warrior might demand upwards of 1000* to come to your town). I suppose you would  pay them in coin when they arrive, and then they'd have their salary to live on.

This came to mind because I thought about how most immigrants don't know anything about fighting and hate being drafted. It would make more sense to import hardened warriors.

I think this would be a neat idea. Infact, any kind of "bulliten" board to hire various stuff would be cool.

However, I think that Mercenarys should have the downside of, since they are outsiders and just swords for hire it should create a mild unhappiness for the workers.

And if things aren't looking so hot in battle, they should demand/take more money, or bid farewell.
