 Either you linked to the wrong article, there was a bit I missed, or you were reading something about robots while typing this.

 Still, with times as they are glamorous things are falling down. Seems nowadays jobs are becoming jobs again. And while I never really cared for glamor, I can see the problem of people being split from their family for their job.

Nope, its a play on the idea that eventualyl we'll have automated planes. Technically we already do, the pilots just there to make sure nothing wrong happens.
