Anyhoo, I was watching a show on BBC3 a few nights ago called "My big decision... Pregnancy". Even though I'm male, it still sickened me to hear these two teenage stories. 2 Girls under pressure to get pregnant... I mean WTF?! Its an absolutely terrible culture thing we have here in Britain, no-one wants it, yet it still happens, teenage pregnancies are at insanely high levels... I cried inside.

One was 14 and one was 16 i think, waaaay too young.

They felt 'pressurised' to become pregnant. And all the young mums were like "No, it ruins your life sorta thing" And they still didn't listen... I was... crying inside.

Hell, I've got four years on the younger one and I'm too young to get pregnant. How will they support the kid? Have they even thought of that?

Kids feel pressured.  Everyone tells them to stop.  They still feel pressured.  Sounds like it's them doing the pressuring.  Cry for attention?

I'm not happy with how people always like to rally behind things. I don't care if it's animal rights or religion, people are just happy making big deals and big fights for no reason. Why fight for animal rights when you're eating trees? Why save Palestine and forget Zimbabwe? Terrorists killed 3000 people in 9/11 and a nation cries. Soldiers kill 30000 civilians and the nation cries about the dead soldiers. A country dedicates its resources to saving cute pandas, but have endangered sharks and tigers for dinner. Men and women try to cure breast cancer.. heck, donate millions to breast cancer awareness, but cervical cancer, which is avoidable by awareness is forgotten.

I'm sure some of you strongly belief in that stuff, and have your reasons. But I dunno.. something about people joining up to a 'good cause' for the sake of appearing 'good' annoys me greatly.

I have no idea what they're reasonings were, it may have had something to do with their parents getting preggers at a young age. But still... I have no idea, i suggest you watch it yourself and then you'll understand... If you can get BBC iplayer where you are.

There was this kid right, who was obvious pre pubescant, who wanted a boob job!!!! SHE HAD NO BREASTS TO GROWWWW!!! AARRRRRGHHH! its so stupid, basically they made a show about a 13 year old, wanting breast implants cause she wasn't happy with the way she was. She hadn't entered puberty and there was no breast to grow... BLARG! infuriating. And at the end, guess what she didn't want them. THEN WHY MAKE THE SHOW?!?!?!?!?!

I don't watch television.

I only use it for On Demmand for the channels I don't get, like Discovery, BBC America, and the USA network because sometimes it has Monk and Psyche. Other than that, I stay away from it. Not that the internet is any more trustworthy of an information source, but at least I can surf several tabs at the same time and have it work.

 And while I have not looked over this thread extensively, one must mention that place known as VN.
 I think it permanently put me off of Warhammer, penguins and anime that involves girls that try to look cute.

The only time I watched TV was when I had no internet for a week. It was horrible.
